"I hired Bio Lawn to do regular lawn maintenance in about March of 2018 and for the first year they provided fairly decent and service. However in May of 2019 they performed the regularly-scheduled lawn treatment and shortly aftewards large swaths of my lawn began to die. Now obviously I can't definitively say the treatment was the cause, the grass was in excellent health right up until that point. I then contacted Bio Lawn to inform them of this and tell them to investigate the cause of my grass dying in hopes that they might fix it. A few days later, a representative of Bio Lawn responded to me after checking out my lawn and determined that Bio Lawn was not at fault and would therefore neither attempt to repair the damaged spots or provide a refund for the treatment. This representative even had the audacity to imply that I killing my own lawn by improper mowing. To note, I have been mowing my lawn in the same manner for many years with the same mower with no issues. Needless to say, I found all this to be completely unreasonable and subsequently canceled all contracts with Bio Lawn. I would strongly caution future customers as their customer service and communication leave much to be desired."

"We have a contract for, I guess they do like pre-emergent weed stuff, fertilizing and things like that for us. We?ve had that contract with them for 10 years. So, we are obviously satisfied customers. I just don?t pay a lot of attention. They come when they say they?re coming. We have gone into the office, which is not too far from where we live. Their customer service has always been very good. It?s a small office, but everybody there is very friendly. My husband has never had any concerns. When they say they are coming out to do something, they are here.  <br /> <br /> I would say they are probably very good with price too, because my husband would be looking for somebody else if they weren?t. Our lawn looks great! We are big fans, obviously! We have recommended them as well. We have an annual contract. They come out and they do weed prevention and fertilizing. If we needed other things, they do offer other services, which we have not needed to take advantage of. I believe they do insect control as well. Our services with them is strictly for the lawn."

"It went very well! Lewis Services is prompt and professional. They take pride in their work and do a wonderful job! We have used other lawn companies before to mow for us and they would come when they felt like it, whether the grass needed to be mowed or not. They would not do a thorough job mowing and weed eating. We are very pleased! Thank you for your dedication and hard work! Your caring attitude is appreciated!"

"As always, Jeff Walton and the crew of the Dulles Care of Trees did a stellar job! <br /> We had been watching the tree in question per instructions from Jeff (and had some preventative maintenance done) but the emerald ash borer disease that is spreading across Northern Virginia finally claimed our ash tree. <br /> We signed a contract for the removal of the tree and the crew was out within a week.  The crew arrived promptly as scheduled.  It was a difficult removal because while the tree was on our property, it was right up against the fence line and a good portion of the tree extended over the fence and into our neighbor's yard.  The crew spoke with our neighbor (who knew they were expected that day) and asked permission to access his yard. <br /> The Care of Trees crew took apart a portion of our neighbor's fence to allow their equipment to cross the yard.  They also laid steel plates down to protect the lawn.  When the work was said and done, you never would have known they were there (with the exception of the large pile of free mulch they gifted our neighbor -- he spent the weekend happily spreading it throughout his gardens!).  The fence was put back to its original state and the grass looked undisturbed. <br /> On our side, the only way you would know a tree ever existed was that a ground level stump remains (whose removal is the second step of the process).  This was also proof of the care (no pun intended) that these fellows take as they had to work around massive arborvitae to get at the ash tree and they were also undisturbed. <br /> The Dulles Care of Trees staff (from front office staff to tree trimmers) are an exceptional group of people.  They are all exceptionally friendly, thoroughly knowledgeable and can be trusted with your most prized trees and shrubs.  We have been working with them for years and look forward to working with them for years to come. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"It went great. Within three weeks after aeration and overseeding, my lawn looked better than it has in twenty-seven years. The grass is thicker and seems more robust than ever before. I just got fed up with the excuses I was getting from my previous lawn care expert. It was always either too hot or not warm enough, too wet or too dry. The weed treatment was either applied too early or too late. I'm so looking forward to seeing what the folks at Turf Medic can do after a full year of service. I certainly am pleased with the one service they provided so far. I got the neighbor on each side of me to sign on with Turf Medic and I certainly wouldn't do that if I wasn't satisfied."

"Lawn Doctor advertises on Angie's List as "yard work", but this is actually handled by a partner company Diamond Cutters. Diamond Cutters, after leaving us hanging for a month, finally comes back and says they are at full capacity, and can't take any more work orders. ???"

"We have been using Frank's Lawn Care for decades, but it's been a long time since I have written a review. My original one was 5 stars, and I am delighted to say that Frank's Lawn Care continues to provide excellent service. It was so great to see Romilio again, as we first met when we started the program so long ago. Although he and the crew are very busy, they are responsive, reliable, and reasonable. Their recent work on a general yard clean up was unexpectedly efficient and the crew was friendly. We are very satisfied long term clients."

"I have a rental property with a very nice size front and back yard.  Although the tenants are responsible for mowing the lawn I wanted to ensure that the grass remained healthy with annual lawn treatments.  David Mintz was highly recommended by a good friend who has been using him for several years and she told me that her lawn has never looked  so good and weed free. I contacted him sometime around spring of 2013.  He promptly looked at the yard and gave me an estimate for and explanation of the lawn treatment program he was proposing.  Since his costs for the various seasonal applications and the fall aeration and overseeding were quite reasonable I decided to use him.  I have been very pleased with the service and the results and will continue to use him in the future.  After all,  even my tenants and some of the neighbors have commented on how good the lawn now looks and I owe it all to David Mintz.. <br />"
