This job involved not only painting, but removing wallpaper that had been up for over 20 years from 2 bedrooms as well as removing the popcorn ceiling in 2 rooms. - a messy job. "Wow! These guys were perfection itself. They arrived on time and got to work immediately. It was a crew of 5 and, boy, were they industrious. The only break they took was for a short lunch. The walls required two coats of paint--and they were so organized that they finished the entire project in one day. Besides painting, they filled in nail holes and repaired cracks where trim had pulled away from the walls because I keep the humidity extremely low in my house all year. They taped, had drop cloths and plastic to protect my floors and furniture (which they moved themselves). I could not have asked for a better experience."

"We have used S&J Painting and Remodeling many times over the past 5 years, most recently (spring 2025) for handyman services. S&J provide services for a full day, so we typically accumulate a few projects. Our most recent project included replacing two faucets, fixing a very loose banister, repairing a hole in the drywall, as well as a few basic jobs, hanging pictures and installing bathroom fixtures. I expected to paint after the drywall and banister were repaired, but they took care of it for me. When replacing one of the faucets they found the supply lines were old and rusty. They went to Home Depot, purchased new supply lines and installed them at no extra cost. While there they picked up some brackets to secure some other loose pipes they happened to see while in the utility room. We really appreciate the extra attention to detail and doing more than we even realized needed done. We are already accumulating new projects. Scheduling and workday communication is excellent."
