"I have used Mason Works on a previous project in 2017 (new stone wall and front step repair) and was very happy with their work. This project was to replace driveway including matching previous stone wall, add granite curbing to right side and complete replacement of existing asphalt. Stone wall is great, granite curbing is great but does not fully match in size or color (they explained that this is typical when ordering granite) and driveway really is just OK. They use a more course asphalt mi than you'd typically see and they explained that it lasts longer. My issues with driveway: • Driveway not evenly smooth, quite a few rougher spots • Section on side of driveway that you can see it's not evenly rolled • They said to wait 5 days to park on it and I waited 3 weeks instead but there are several tire marks already from parking on it"

"We hired Hilario's Construction to build a retaining wall. The retaining wall is holding up the driveway so it was very important that a strong wall was built. Tomas and his crew demolished the old wall, removed the debris from the property, and constructed a new retaining wall. The work they performed was outstanding. The wall is strong and very attractive. They took the time to color match the stones with the side wall and installed drains to prevent water from building up behind the wall. What was originally a wall of cement and an eye sore became a beautiful stone wall that now adds character to my backyard. After the wall was completed, Tomas and his crew cleaned up the entire area, no small pebbles, cement, or debris of any kind was left behind. They even filled in cracking in another area of my yard. I highly recommend Tomas and his crew to anyone seeking an honest, experienced company specializing in masonry work. We would hire them again in a heartbeat!"

"Given the experience with the roof repair (reviewed herein), I contacted Abalia for help in completing a project I had started: screening in the open front porch to our log cabin. As the entire cabin is constructed of cedar logs, no straight edges, walls, etc. Screening in openings was straight forward (I did most of this), but the porch needed to be segmented (screened-in area, open area) requiring a wall and door to be constructed. Khaled arrived with all the necessary tools (which I did not have), and in short order (4 hours) had constructed the porch divider wall. Very happy with the end product, as we just completed our first warm season with no bugs on the porch!"

"I had several contractors come look at the site and give an estimate. They all seemed competent and had good ratings from Angie's list. Each had a choice of materials that could be used that more or less fit the bill, but not exactly. Douglas definitely stood apart from the others. Not only did he suggest a paving stone that was exactly what I wanted, but he suggested modifying the design of the space to make it fit in better with the setting. We ended up coming up with space with a curved corner rather than a straight corner (which is what I originally proposed, and the other contractors were going to provide). It looks great!! I was originally concerned that the parking space would detract from the appearance of the property but it actually enhances it. I have gotten nothing but positive comments from family, friends and neighbors. "We initially hired Jorge and his team to do a patio and walkway in our back yard. The quality of the work was just great. Jorge recommended nice materials, and the installation was done with care and considerable artistry. They also graded some of the yard after a construction project, spread some loam and seeded a new lawn. The outcome was excellent. We were going to wait until spring to replace our front yard stairs, retaining wall and walkways, but when Jorge said they would be able to get to it this fall we decided to ask him to do that work too.
