"I had a unique problem with cellar window that was odd sized and installed when basement walls was installed. The frame had insect damage and needed to be replaced. Dan proceeded to cut out the frame and using stock purchased inserted new frame that even had to be mitred on sides to install along the groves in the concrete. He inserted filler around wood framing and replaced the existing window. I would highly recommend Dan and plan to use his services again if needed in the future."

"In April 2026, our broken cast iron pipe needed to be replaced, but we didn’t know how extensive the repair would be. From Angi's referrals, we called Full Swing Plumbing who arranged for Nick, one of their plumbers, to come to our house that same afternoon. Full Swing waived the dispatch fee. Nick used his endoscope camera to see the extent of the problem. (They had a coupon on their site which offered this one-time, free service.) After a couple hours, they were able to identify the problem, present a few solutions, as well as a final estimate before they left that day. We agreed on the approach and set a date for the following week. Nick and his co-worker were friendly, deeply knowledgeable, and hard-working. They communicated well, taking photos for us throughout the process. They cleaned up everywhere, completed the job in one day, and they kept to their price. Everything worked well from the single visit."

"I had washed 2 heavy scatter rugs in my 30+ year old Whirlpool.  Next time I used the washer, the water would not work to fill the machine. I called  Gallagher Appliance Repair, and Chris Gallagher came to fix it..  I was very impressed with this young man and how he worked to track down the cause of the problem. He was also very personable and explained to me what he was doing. I enjoyed talking with him.
He found the problem and fixed it. The machine worked. The charge was $90.00.
Later when I went to use the machine, the water filled but drained right out.  I called Chris and he told me that unfortunately it was the timer and he would have great difficulty finding parts because the machine was so old. I needed a new machine, and I asked him, in his experience, which was the best brand to purchase.  I  purchased that brand and was very happy with it.
Chris refunded me $40.00 on that service call, and I was very happy with how it all worked out.  I would most certainly call Chris at

"John showed up when he said he would. He was careful to put down drop clothes everywhere to be sure to keep the area clean. His work was fantastic. He installed a door, and did some other repair work. When he was done, he made sure to point out how it was before, and it was obvious how great it was when he was done. I would recommend him to anyone. His pricing is very reasonable, his work was great, and he did everything he said he would do. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
