"My call for service was answered by a very friendly and responsive representative.  The next day, the owner, Thomas Burke, came to find out about my job.   I told him I was concerned about branches of two very tall trees falling in a wind storm.  One tree was between my house and the neighbors the other tree was down by the pubic sidewalk.  Mr. Burke assessed the situation and said the trees were healthy, but pointed out some large branches that he recommended removing.  (4 limbs on one tree and a large section at the fork of the other tree).
Mr. Burke was very friendly as well and took time to answer all my questions.  He made me feel that my job was important.  He gave me a bid at that time and told me I can have the Angie's list 5% discount off of the quote.  We scheduled the date.   Promptly in the morning Mr. Burke and his crew arrived.  One man climbed each tree.  There were also men on the ground who helped.  They worked efficiently and very carefully.  This was very important as there were electric wires, parked cars and our homes to watch out for.
When the men were finished (took only a couple of hours), they removed the branches and cleaned up very nicely.

"This tree was not only tall, but also very wide. It was rotting and due to its close vicinity to lots of buildings, removal needed to be done carefully. Daryl North and his crew did a fantastic job, ensuring that no property or vehicles were damaged in the process. The yard was too small to bring any large equipment back there, so they had to take small pieces of the tree down one piece at a time due to its enormous size by actually climbing the tree, but were able to take the entire tree down in one day with complete safety in mind. They came back a second day to grind the huge stump and hauled away the debris and left the yard so clean, that I could hardly believe that the 100-year-old tree had ever been there! I have the highest respect for Daryl and his crew for making this dangerous job look like a piece of cake. They were professional, polite, and very friendly and kept me informed every step of the way. All of this was done for an incredibly reasonable price. Also, since the city required me to plant a new tree to replace the one I removed, Daryl referred me to someone who helped me purchase and plant a lovely replacement. "I have used Pacific NW Arborist's twice now. The first time, they removed two large fir trees, a maple tree, and a willow tree. The fir trees required the use of a crane. They spent one day delimbing the fir trees and removing the maple and willow. They returned with a crane to remove the remainder of the fir trees. All went very well and they did an excellent job of cleaning up the mess. The second time I used their services, they removed a large pine tree that had begun to lean and posed a threat of falling over. It took them about an hour to climb, delimb, remove, and clean up. Very pleased with their effort. All in all, I would highly recommend Pacific NW Arborists; very professional and reliable."

"Absolutely perfect. Eric and his crew arrived on time and were well prepared. Besides doing great work, they rescued a baby bird while using their bucket to get to the top of the tree. They trimmed the branch which held the nest and replaced it in a similar position in an adjacent tree therefore not disturbing the bird or the nest. After completing the tree removal, they cleaned the yard of all twigs, pine needles, sawdust etc and left the house and yard in pristine condition. I highly recommend Quality Tree Service.
