"We hired Plymouth Meeting Nursery to completely transform the exterior landscape of our 100+ year-old home, where we live with our three young children and our ever-faithful golden retriever. As a licensed landscape architect, we approached this project with high standards and were looking for a contractor who offered fair, transparent pricing, excellent craftsmanship, and timely execution. Plymouth Meeting Nursery delivered on all counts. The scope of work was extensive and included the demolition of all existing landscaping, a deck, concrete walkways, fencing, and excess soil. In its place, the team installed new fencing, a beautiful cedar pergola, repointed brickwork on our home, irrigation, a synthetic lawn alongside fresh sod and thoughtfully selected plantings, outdoor lighting, a stunning bluestone patio with brick steps and retaining wall, a brick and bluestone fireplace, and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen featuring a grill, sink, ice maker, and refrigerator. The project spanned nearly five months, during which a few scope changes arose. Each one was handled professionally and flexibly by John and his team. Their commitment was clear: the crew showed up consistently and kept the momentum going, which we greatly appreciated. The schedule (both the start date and amount of time) was adhered to, the crew that he has with him is top notch and most importantly the work performed was certainly to our expectations. Jeff was always responsive to our pre-work emails and texts. If anyone has worked with other contractors in the Lehigh Valley in the past, you really cannot say this about every company. Jeff *is* responsive. Our home, after 20 years, needed some work that included removal and disposal of our old natural stone walls, removal of tons and tons of old red stone, pruning of shrubs/plants etc. that remained, and the building of new techo bloc walls, placement of fresh soil and stone as well as placement and planting new recommended shrubs and plants. The team cleaned up every night before leaving and left the site neat and tidy. We are thrilled with the work performed."
