I built an entire barn dominium myself, from electrical, infloor heat system, plumbing, framing, drywall, finishing, shiplap, and trim. I am a 22 year member of Ironworkers local 292, I am an experienced welder/fabricator and have held unlimited thickness structural welding certs for 19 years.

"Windows were ordered but took a little longer than estimated to arrive.  Then they were short one window.   Installed the others in two visits and installed the final window when it arrived.  Aside from the fact that there were some minor winter weather related delays,  it was good.  The installer was excellent, friendly as well as efficient.  Courteous to family members and considerate about the potential heat loss from the window being removed.  I was impressed with how extremely accurate the measurements were to fit the windows.   The delay in finishing all the windows because of the order error played to our personal advantage.  We were able to make the pmt from our savings on the balance due.  The house is much warmer and quieter.  Wish we had done this years ago. <br />    The only less than good item was staying in contact with the company/contractor.  I accidentally deleted the contractor's phone number, so I ended up sending 3 emails to their web site before they responded and he called back over a week later.  Then I had to email them again asking when they wanted their final pmt.  It was still 2 weeks before he picked it up.   Not sure why they didn't want it mailed.  We didn't make the final pmt till almost a month after the completion.  It didn't effect me but seemed peculiar. <br />"

"We were just chit chatting on the eave things that was done. I said that I'm also going to replace all the windows. While I was going to have, another company do it because they had done work for me before. He's like oh we can get somebody's right out and give me an estimate on that. I thought well okay go ahead. I thought they came in fairly reasonable for 10 windows. They are somewhere special made. So, I did end up going with them. The young man who did the work always called me to let me know he was going to be late. This young man put these windows in, did the trim on these windows and they are very impressive. He did a great job. The window guy, he showed up with the kind of trim that is like 20 foot for five bucks, when I had this really fancy schmancy trim on my windows, really fancy trim. This is an old house; I don't know who put this trim up, but it's beautiful. So, he actually went back and replaced it with a fancier trim, so that it matched the outward trim, it was very nice, he was excellent. But I wouldn't use them again because I had tried not to use them in the first place."

"I received Jeff's name through a friend of mine who had work done also. I have my 94 year old father and 92 year old mother living with me and I needed to update some things for them. Jeff came and looked at my bathroom situation and told me what my options were for making it handicap accessible. He has a designer that laid everything out for me so I knew what the final project would look like. ( I needed the picture visual!!) He gave me my bid within a week and it seemed pretty reasonable. ( We cant have everything for free!) once I signed the contract the crew was in my house about a week later tearing out what needed to go. They  took care of everything from getting the material and installing it and hauling away the old. The crew did an amazing job. I couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out. The one thing I really would like to share with all who is reading this..... Everyday that the guys worked, they came in and sat down with my parents. That would sit with them and talk about who knows what! They would catch up for a few minutes or so then start working!! They treated me and my family so nice!!! I have since called them for other things that have come up and they are always willing to come out as soon as possible to take care of me.
