The job turned out to be much tougher than expected—the old cement was nearly impossible to break up and the clay ground was hard to dig deeper for the required dept —but Ken handled it like a pro, using a jackhammer and digging through hard clay soil without complaint. Despite the extra work and materials needed, he stuck to his original price even when I asked to pay him more, which speaks volumes about his integrity. "These are just a few of the photos of the complete job that Accent Exteriors called acceptable. These were taken DAYS after they completed the job. You can see the paint is chipping and flaking off, this started the day after they completed. You can also see that the texture the applied looks NOTHING like the previous textures, and on top of that there are CHUNKS of stucco left in our yard, and finally the door they painted to match my house started peeling the SAME DAY!
