"It went well. He totally connected everything to the junction box and made sure that all the electrical devices were connected. Everything was connected properly and the electricity was running properly and those switches were controlled by them and he also included a dimmer switch on the light fixture. He did a really good job in figuring out how to bring the wires through the ceiling of our condo. He came very very soon after we contacted him and I was very glad that he was able to come right away to get it done so quickly."

"Needed to hook up my portable generator to the house. Mr Sparky was the first to call from angi so I asked for a quote. They came over very quickly and gave my wife and I a very good quote we thought. We didn't even get another, Slept on it, they called back the next day and we set set up a date. Mario showed up (very nice guy) . Said it would be a couple hours, and it was. They didn't need to turn off the whole house which was good and wired in a new electrical panel and plug on the outside. We tested it, and it worked perfectly. We are very happy. Thanks guys....!"

"Mike installed lights in our kitchen, installed 2 ceiling fans and gave us a good recommendation to install a timer switch in our bathroom. Everything looks great and we are loving the timer switch in the bathroom. Very professional and left the area clean after work was completed. Will definitely hire again in the future. Highly recommend"

"Excellent service. I had a bad electric outlet that didn't work. Technician found the bad splice in the basement. I would never felt comfortable working on 120V live wires. There was a apprentice and he was also very professional. I would use them again. "

"I hired him to change one outlet that was damaged because I have grandkids and it is dangerous to have it like that. Since it was sparking out she hired, he was not able to do the job right away and after he did the work in one outlet he said it would be $300.0 and I think that is to much."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Hartland, WI

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
