"My kitchen light/fan stopped working. This was the second fan I had replaced in the kitchen in the past three years. In addition, occasionally the microwave and range clocks would blink indicating a power failure. So instead of replacing the fan I decided to have an electrician check out the electrical system to see if something else was wrong. They came out the same day I called them and pointed out some problems with my panel in the basement and gave me an estimate for replacement.  Because the panel passed inspection when I purchased my house but the inspector had some concerns at the time of the inspection, I decided to go ahead and have the whole electrical panel replaced, plus a new fan installed in the kitchen and an outdoor motion light installed on the house. The electrician came back the next day and did all of the repairs for me. I was very pleased with the result and have had no problems since.
