"I'd used Custom Painting and Home Repairs 6 months beforehand to paint residential exterior windows and eves and had a very positive experience. Nathan's crew just finished painting a residential interior project including walls, trim, ceilings, builtin cabinets, closets, doors and a concrete floor. Just as before, Nathan and his crew did a great job. His crew are always polite and respectful and are conscientious of doing quality work. He's doing some sheetrock work and replacing an exterior entry door now too! I'll write a review about those experiences when they're finished up. "My driveway always flooded with the rain. Home star installed a drain and a pipe which emptied the water into a ditch on my front lawn. They slanted the concrete so the water would drain. They also installed a patio . The craftsmanship was excellent! And there was not any sign of debris after the job. I will hire them again."

"They came out but I never received the quote so I used someone else. She called to apologize and told me that she emailed the quote but no one followed up with me for several weeks. They seemed pretty professional so I was very disappointed that no one followed up or called me in a reasonable amount of time."

"In August 2013, we hired them to repair soffits, eaves, and yankee gutters. The house is 100 years old, is still all-wood, and we are very particular about having things fixed properly to last another 100 years. It is also 3 stories tall, so some areas were 25' high. They properly repaired broken and missing corners, replacing the wood and then priming and painting the areas. They sealed the yankee gutters (not many people know how to work with this style of internally-built gutter) and made everything look like new. They came when they said they would and worked on the job until it was finished. No starting then gone for two weeks and finishing later like some contractors do. We got what we paid for, and extra (they painted other areas that needed touchup "while they were up there"). They came quickly, gave a quote, and stuck to the quote. We plan on hiring them again this spring to build a new deck on the back of the house. Very very satisfied!"
