Bill showed cross sections of the older range power line and the new line installed, describing the differences in insulation and safety features of the newer line. Bill went above and beyond by detecting the wrong cord on the new range, and replaced this with the proper range gauge power cord. Bill also helped us to correctly position and level the new range appliance. "Brad and his team were amazing! I highly recommend them. From my first contact with Brad I was impressed. He and his team came out to the property almost immediately to assess the situation. I was in the process of purchasing the property and Brad provided an estimate within a day that so that I was able to use this info during the negotiation with the seller. Replacing knob and tube wiring is an extremely complex and difficult job that requires a very knowledgeable contractor with the right tools and a great deal of respect for the structure and integrity of the home. Brad and his team had all of these qualities and more. This job took almost 3 weeks of continuous work and effort by a team of 3 electricians. Brad and his team did an amazing job surgically rewiring the house with minimal invasion and without damaging the walls or structural integrity of the home. In the areas where the walls were opened, Brad and his team very nicely filled in the holes with onetime wall patching material which I later sanded and painted. Also, at the end of every day, the team made sure that the house was spotlessly clean. Even though we had not yet moved in, we could have lived there while this work was being completed. They kept it that clean which was impressive considering the scope of work the team had undertaken. Throughout the process, Brad and his team were a pleasant, very communicative and would consult with me on any decisions that had to be made. Brad was extremely thoughtful throughout the process and really did an amazing job at our home. "We contacted Glenn upon moving into our new house. At our request, Glenn took the time to educate us about the electrical work in our home. He was punctual and responsive to our requests and questions. We realized very quickly that Glenn is very knowledgeable and honest. "My technician Dave is the best. Dave has visited my home on more than one occasion. He is friendly and respectful. Always willing to answer my questions. Explains each job thoroughly. Explains in language I can understand. I called GEN 3 for what I believed to be an electrical problem that resulted in my central air not working. Dave was able to determine the problem, and fixed the problem. In addition, Dave advised me that there was other electrical issues that needed immediate attention. Those issues were also resolved, by installing a new 100 AMP Grounding System. I feel better, feel safer, as a result of Dave’s visit. He is a very valuable GEN 3 employee."

"The quote was nearly 50% higher than our lowest quote and about 25% higher than the next highest quote. Also, the electrician recommended a GFCI breaker, which would have been incompatible with our installation (the outlet was to be used with an electric vehicle charger that has built-in GFCI protection). Doubling up on the GFCI can cause problems and is against the installation directions. I wouldn't expect the electrician to know this necessarily (he didn't see the installation directions), but he boasted that they have worked with Teslas, so perhaps he should know (or stop using that as a selling point). Wes Carver Electrical was the only one to recommend GFCI, which added even more to the cost and put that part of their quote about 75% higher than what we ultimately paid for the work."
