Based on the work they just completed, I then hired them to tear out an old cement landing and replaced it with granite and field stone. Very happy with all of the work they performed."

"I have used Mason Works on a previous project in 2017 (new stone wall and front step repair) and was very happy with their work. This project was to replace driveway including matching previous stone wall, add granite curbing to right side and complete replacement of existing asphalt. Stone wall is great, granite curbing is great but does not fully match in size or color (they explained that this is typical when ordering granite) and driveway really is just OK. They use a more course asphalt mi than you'd typically see and they explained that it lasts longer. My issues with driveway: • Driveway not evenly smooth, quite a few rougher spots • Section on side of driveway that you can see it's not evenly rolled • They said to wait 5 days to park on it and I waited 3 weeks instead but there are several tire marks already from parking on it"

The large metal chimney was removed without incident. The gas fireplace insert needed to be cut out so as to preserve the brick encasing the fireplace and the wood mantel. Jim then expertly installed the electric fireplace, doing a beautiful job both solidly securing the new fireplace and making sure the presentation of the fireplace was perfect! It was a pleasure to see someone take meticulous care throughout the entire job, which included thoroughly cleaning up afterwards."

"It went flawlessly. The three guys arrived on time and made fast work of disassembling our granite slab front steps, by hand. They created a new reinforced base with crushed stone and reassembled the slabs to a new level surface. They patched two concrete retaining walls. Then the attacked the 37-year dirt build-up on our large concrete patio. They cut and filled a few large cracks and pressure washed the surface so that it now looks like a completely different patio. I could not be happier with the completed results of these three too-hard-for-us projects. Excellent work by three very hardworking professionals!"

"In all fairness to the company our chimney was in dire straights & we needed a cap but they recommended a chimney liner for the price of $2,000 . That didn?t include any masonry work that needed to be done . I had other quotes that included the liner & all the masonry work for the same price . Plus I was overcharged for the chimney cap . I would not recommend Paramount ."

"Perfect! The removal of the pre-existing concrete patio took and entire day of hard work with some heavy equipment and lots of muscle. Once the old concrete was removed and disposed of, the site was excavated to prepare the underlying base of crushed stone and sand for the pavers. The paver installation went well, but required last minute cutting into small pieces to fit some difficult spots (around the cellar hatchway). Everything looks beautiful compared to the older poured concrete. We're totally satisfied with the project and the team who did the work!"
