"We signed up for Masters a year ago and requested lawn cutting service only. We were told we could only sign up for and subsequently pay for full lawn service including weeding and “full lawn care”. Our front yard is full of weeds and our neighbors have said something in concern the weeds will spread to their yard. My husband emailed Masters, they came out promptly looked, said they would change the treatment and follow up to make sure the lawn improved. No one ever came back or followed up. Masters came today to provide the weekly service and our lawn looks bad. My husband is in the backyard pulling weeds and I’m about to retrim the grass myself because there are parts in the front and back left uncut. We’ve reached out multiple times and nothing has changed. I would very much not recommend."

"Great job. Completed landscaping transformation along with very important water mitigation project’s completed. Turned my property in a terrific space for the whole family while also doing it in a way that allowed for more resilience from the elements. These were my two main goals of the project along with a hard scape deck. All was completed with the utmost quality and style."

"***POOR QUALITY & NO FOLLOW THROUGH ON PROMISE*** I spent $6,000 on May 1st 2022 to have my lanai room concrete floor resurfaced by "The Resurfacing Company" and wish I hadn't. I had 3 quotes from 3 companies $1,800, $2,400, and $6,000. Rodd the owner sold me on his decades of experience given I was about to spend approximately 3 times what the other companies quoted. The job was completed on 5/1/22. At the time, Rodd said to me that he wanted to add another coat of sealer to the floor because the original one he applied wasn't enough and that he would do it in the fall of 2022 when it's cooler. I didn't like that but took him for his word because he's charismatic. By 5/21/22 there were numerous spots where the sealer/coating were rubbing off. I put a pair of rubber soled boots on the floor and within 24 hours there were numerous spots where it pulled the sealer and coating right off and we now have white spots. Furthermore, I got a new grill in March 2023 and the rubber wheels easily create numerous spots on the floor and it looks super bad. On top of that, there is a crack that is approximately 8 inches long that has appeared which isn't supposed to happen. We have been so stressed with the floor, and we take every single precaution to ensure no further damage is done. We put skid pads on all the furniture, we never power wash, but that doesn't matter due to the poor quality of the work. It's clear that Rodd's instinct was correct that it needed another coat of sealer. I've been contacting him ever since October 2022 via many texts, and he gives every excuse in the book on why he won't follow through on his word to add the extra coat of sealer or repair the damaged spots. The favorite excuse he uses is he has a "commercial job" that he's been working on for several months. I don't expect perfection, but for $6,000 I do expect the floor to hold up as promised. I expect a company to keep their word. Sadly, this company doesn't do that."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Hawthorne, FL

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
