They used ropes to ensure the tree limbs did not fall on my neighbor's property and a combination of handheld chainsaws and chainsaws mounted on extensions to reach the higher branches. They bought their own truck-mounted chipper which came in handy for disposing of the larger tree limbs. Their professional experience on tree removal was on display when it came to trimming the branches of a 30-year old tree that was over hanging on my property. It was amazing to witness how they surgically removed the over hanging branches - being careful to remove just enough to ensure the tree remained balanced and healthy. "I met with John to give me an estimate to cut a few trees. I had 1 tree in the front yard, 1 tree in the back yard, and about 4 trees just behind the backyard fence. Owner came for payment and said he would send someone out to address the lawn as well as debris cleanup that they left in the street. So I paid him for the job. I have not heard from him since. Took the money and ran. Would not recommend."

He did let us know that treatment effectiveness is only about 50/50 when you have trees that are already infected. Since the treatment was recent, we don't know if the trees will survive. But since these trees provide our backyard shade, we decided to go ahead with the treatment."
