"On the 12th, before I submitted a very poor rating,  I decided to call Tallents to see why they had not sent the estimate as agreed upon on our last contact.  (Maybe there was a valid reason. (ie. sickness, injury, death...) and. although I was very disappointed with them I wanted to be fair. When I called I spoke with Mr. Tallent and after I explained why I was calling he assured me that his daughter had emailed the estimate the previous week.  I, in return, assured him that <br /> , we had not received it.  I searched the spam folder and the trash bin on my computer and it was not there,  Only my husband and I use the computer.  It was never sent, I don't care what he thinks his daughter did.  Anyway, he emailed it to me and I received it with no problem. <br />  Although I understand that  things happen, I told Mr. Tallent that in the future, it may be a good idea for the company to double check with their customers after sending emails to make sure they were received.  I don't think making a phone call is too much trouble.  It's just good business to follow up if you don't hear back after going to the trouble of doing an estimate.  He agreed.  We are going with another company. <br /> <br />"
