"I recently hired Walt to paint the exterior of my house. A little background. I haven't painted my house since moved in about 15 year ago, and due to the landscaping (sprinklers) and sun damage, quite a few window trims and a section of the front of the house needs to be replaced. I got 3 quotes from 3 Angil recommended companies, initially, Walt wasn't in the list. I read all the reviews, and think Walt's high rating warrants a call so I called him for a quote as well. Walt came over a couple of days later, he walked around my house and pointed out all the areas that need to be fixed before being painted. He also mentioned to me that he works with a carpenter to get the repairs done before the painting begins. Out of all 4 quotes I got, Walt was the second most expensive, but the conversation with him made me confident that he'd do a good job. His friend Dave and his son fixed all the wooden structures around the house, and Walt prepped, primed, and painted every single. I must say that he did a great job, as you can see from the photos. He also warrant his work for 3 years, and I'm fully confident the house will not need a new coat of paint for at least 10 years. Walt may not offer the cheapest prices, but his thoroughness and expertise are very valuable."

"I have an 86 year old home I'm trying to sell. It had painted hardwood floors under paint that someone painted! What a crime! I had Tim come out and refinish all three of my bedrooms. Oh my goodness, once I saw the finished pro, I wished to God I had had Tim done my floors 8 years ago when I bought the home. He was fast, worked so hard to get the floors perfect. I just know I will get top dollar now for my home! I wonder if he will do my new home in Texas? You can't go wrong using Tim!"

"The approximate cost was $1300. The guys were nice. But the paint job isn't holding up that well. From the wall were my alarm is when the wall gets touch the paint is coming off. I don't think they did do a primer. It's not holding up I can see were it needs to be touched up in hallway and the laundry room where they painted and same in the kitchen. They were kind of in a hurry so they didn't spend time on prep. That's the kind of comment I will make to future customer. It looks good but they don't do a lot of prep. There were areas that have to be touched up.  It's not even a full year yet. They kind of want to get in and out.  Initially he came in with a price. He verbally gave me quotes for each room and because I am a female. He went outside to his truck to come back with the final bill and it was 3 times than what he said for each room. I say to him I guess I have to give you a not so great review on Angie's List because the quote and the integrity of all that is part of why I use Angie's List. When I said that he called me back and said oh I'm so sorry I don't know what I was thinking. That wasn't the quote I wanted to give you. I am like oh my god if I hadn't said that this guy will be taking me to the cleaners. They were on time. They were professional."
