"He, "Uncle Eric", came through another service, appliancehd.com (which I would also not recommend). Came when he said, assessed the refrigerator, said it needed 2 parts, and charged us $282.66 for parts and labour. I wrote him a check (which he cashed that day) and he said he'd be back in a couple of days when the parts came in. This was a Wednesday. We called the next week, left a message, and he called back and named a day when he would come... if the parts were in. (I have since had it repaired by another company. They were back with the part in 2 days.) Then began the practice of calling and leaving increasingly frustrated messages every day or two. No more calls, no visit. Nothing. I called a different company and the whole thing was over in 3 days. I have paid twice to have my frig fixed, but Uncle Eric didn't do it."
