"Starkie Brothers was one of our top choices when it came time to rip up our old concrete patio and replace it with pavers. We knew we would get quality work that would be sustainable for years to come. John met with us on several occasions and was patient with us throughout our decision-making when it came down to the design of our project. John had great ideas...he was detailed in his project plans, discussing everything from rip up & removal, drainage, piping, design and layout. John took the time to come to our house on several occasions until every detail was discussed and finalized. He even met us at the supply place to look at our options re: pavers. Our project was broken down into two parts - 1) a rear patio off of our house and 2) a paver patio surrounding a new pool as well as a black top driveway. Part 1 was completed this Fall. John and his crew were at our house every morning as scheduled. They worked diligently to complete the project in 4 days. His crew was very friendly and communicated with us throughout. John kept us updated via text and phone calls, even sending us pictures of the progress throughout the day! He had our kids create a time capsule which he buried for them. The work was neat, organized and all cleaned up at the end of each day and at the end of project. We have yet to decide on landscaping but the groundwork has been laid by John for irrigation. Part 2 will be completed in the Spring, giving the area around the new pool install time to settle. Will update review once that part is complete. Pics are before/during/after"

"Joe and his crew did an awesome job. We had our blacktop driveway and walkway ripped out and replaced with Cambridge pavers, Stone Harbor and it looks beautiful. They also installed new steps with Stone veneer from Cambridge with ledge stone and a paver walkway and paver patio in the backyard. They were always on time and did all this work very meticulously. "I would recommend Carl Bongiorno & Sons to everyone. This was a very big job that got bigger as we went along. Over 3,000 sq ft of patio pavers done the right way over a steel reinforced concrete base. A fire pit with bench, a spillover spa, a built in outdoor barbecue area, both rear steps, a retaining wall, a gravel side of house parking area, sod and landscape plantings. Throughout the entire process there was constant communication with Carl and his sons Carl Jr and Garret. They battled mother nature and other contractors with true professionalism. Their equipment is top notch and they did a great clean up every day prior to leaving. As with any project with anyone the more you know about what you want and are able to communicate it to them the better they can assist you with the design of your project. Carl Sr has been in business for a long time and it is now a family business that will be around for a long time to come. I highly recommend them and will use them again. "Alex and his team were great. They expertly installed Cambridge Armortec pavers on my driveway, path to my house and my stoop. He also repaved part of my inside of my garage that was crumbling. I am very, very happy with the work they did. I was somewhat skeptical because I couldn't find any recent reviews on the Co. They did do my neighbors driveway and it looks beautiful. "We worked with Sunny (Liberty NY Construction) on a large project, and are very pleased with the result! We had the house and chimney tuck pointed with tinted mortar, patched some missing brick from previous work, replaced front and back stairs, and repaired the paver patio. The process took 7 work days over the course of 2 weeks. The house was power washed with special cleaners, and looks like new! For a 75 year old house, we could not hope for more! Sunny was on site every day to make sure we were happy with the progress and to make sure his team had clear expectations. The final days clean up was very well done, and included hosing down the flat surfaces, not just sweeping. Could not recommend them more!"
