"Jesse is wonderful at what he does. He helped clean out a home full of items prior to me listing it. As others have stated, he is passionate about repurposing as many items as he can. He does have his process and he likes to work alone to "get in the zone" and he will stay as long as it takes. This was a huge undertaking and Jesse helped me with removing as much as he could that would have ended up in the landfill. And sidenote, he packs like no one I have ever seen! So organized. He is honest, caring and found items that he returned, or asked about, before assuming they were to be removed. Additionally, he will work with you on your budget and timeline and if needed, will do his best to alter his workload to accommodate everyone. I will definitely be using Nivana Junk Removal in the future. "

FAQs for post construction clean up projects in High Springs, FL

Plan on one hour of cleaning for every 100 to 200 square feet. That means a two-to-four-person crew will spend eight to 12 hours on a full-size home.

Your pro will walk the space first, size it up, and give you a more precise timeline to be sure every lofty ceiling, baseboard, and tight corner gets the same white-glove attention.

Cleaning fine dust after construction requires a combined approach of detailed dusting and high‐powered vacuuming. Begin by wiping high surfaces such as ceiling fans, walls, window sills, and countertops to eliminate deposited particles. Next, vacuum all floors, carpets, and hard surfaces and mop afterward to remove residual dust. Finally, clean HVAC returns, supply vents, and replace filters to ensure a completely dust‐free environment.

You’ll need safety gear and heavy-duty tools. At minimum, you should wear a respirator, eye protection, and work gloves. Then, bring in a HEPA-filter shop vac, wet mops, microfiber cloths, and a carpet shampooer to lift dust from every surface.

Pros also keep extra filters and trash bags on hand so they can swap them out mid-job and keep the cleanup running smoothly from start to finish.

Book your post-construction cleanup for one to two days after the last tool leaves the site. That 24- to 48-hour buffer lets dust settle so the crew can snag every speck in one visit.

Touch base with your contractor before you lock in a date; if their punch-list slips, you’ll want to shift the cleaning slot to avoid costly rescheduling and make sure the house is truly move-in ready.
