"It is rare for me to find a contractor that easily grasps the vision I have for a project. I contacted Jayson as I was hoping a company named "Creative Living Painting" would get my unusual idea. They did not disappoint! They are not just contractors, but artists who truly brought out the character of my home. Since I knew the wood was far too old to stain and too expensive to replace, I wanted to do repair and then faux stain using paint and gel stain--a technique I had done myself inside on a small scale. Jayson knew exactly what I was talking about and did some experimenting to see what technique would work best given the large area that had to be covered. His process was far better than mine, and Joaquin's artistry truly shines. The entire painting team: Breynard, Joaquin, and Victoria are all masters of their work! The stucco repair was flawless, the attention to detail is unmatched, and above all, they're just super nice people! "We needed ceilings smoothed in our 1950s-era home plus interior rooms and exterior trim painted. Ricardo's was the best of several bids for the project; he came out right away when I called to look at the work to be done and e-mailed a detailed, professional proposal (unlike the verbal or just scribbled total cost we got from 2 others!) He listened carefully to what we wanted and made professional recommendations such as the type of paint to best cover our formerly oil-based painted interior trim. He and his friendly, hard-working crew did a beautiful job and were careful about protecting furniture, not letting our dogs get out and cleaning up after each day's work. The man who smoothed our ceilings is an artist! Despite a rain day followed by Santa Ana winds, they finished 2 days ahead of schedule.
