"Have worked with Gabriel and his team now on multiple occasions to complete massive back and front yard projects at our home. In the backyard, they completely transformed our landscaping with a full wrap-around fence install, plus new irrigation and sprinkler systems, and full sodding. We had concrete poured next to the house to have a pad for a hot tub, as well as a separate seating area for a fire pit. Both of these were concrete stamped and colored which looks really classy as compared to just "plain" concrete. In the front, they completely demolished out a cactus garden and old shrubs and bushes, building a full wooden pergola and trellises for grape growing, as well as putting in some new trees and planters...it looks infinitely better and nicer now! "The men that did the work related to the prepping the yard for the retaining wall, placing the rock and pavers for the walkway did a very good job and it really looked nice. I've worked in construction and building maintenance for over 50 years, so I know what's good workmanship and what's poor. The worker who did the framing for the new sidewalk, steps and porch was poor workmanship. Nothing was level or straight and I had to have the other crew correct the forms before concrete was poured. The guys that finished the concrete did an excellent job. Never let D&D workers connect the lawn sprinkler piping to your house water piping. They seem to be handymen, not real plumbers. Beside not installing necessary valves and fittings to winterizing the sprinkler system, all the copper pipe was installed crooked, under stress and not supported correctly. Overall, half the crew did very good work, the other half needs training."

After this they installed a custom cedar fence with 4 inch hog rail panels. Fernando and his crew did an amazing job. We would definitely use them again."

"Our home came with a "xeriscaped" back yard, with about 550 square feet of 12"x9" pavers. The original homeowner's contractor installed the pavers incorrectly: directly on the bare ground, with no gravel or weed barrier. A number of gaps started appearing, and some pavers were unlevel. We also were getting a lot of weeds growing between the pavers, which were a pain to pull up. My wife found Minh last year in Angie's List, and he gave us a very reasonable estimate, but we decided to hold off on the project until now. Minh still honored the old estimate, even though material costs have gone up considerably since then. Minh and his crew did an *outstanding* job in taking up all of the pavers, tamping and leveling the ground, laying down a weed barrier, putting down a layer of breeze gravel, reinstalling the pavers, and then applying polymeric sand between the pavers to make it solid and weed-resistant. He plus his crew did the initial work, but Minh himself did all of the paver re-installation and sand-spreading himself to ensure a super-high quality result. It was completed over the course of five business days, which were during 90-degree+ daytime temperatures. Minh is super easy to work with, he is meticulous in his craftsmanship, very responsive to phone and texts, and has a great work ethic. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who needs stonework or any other landscaping work done. Extra kudos for getting this project done during a heatwave!"
