"Two days ago, we had eight windows installed in our home by Guardian Windows. Words cannot express how impressed we are with the windows and more importantly the installation. We were pleased to have such highly skilled and experienced installers. Myself, I am an engineer by occupation, so I was more than just interested in the installation process. With eight large openings in my house, I was concerned not so much with the appearance but what cannot be seen. I was interested specifically in how the installation would address water, air leakage, and the impact to my interior trim. All my questions were not only addressed but they exceeded my expectations. During the installation the Guardian installers found numerous problems with my home. For every window the builder failed to properly attach the interior and exterior trim. Most of the builder window openings were not sealed properly and in several cases the builder windows were not securely nailed. The Guardian installers pointed out each of these problems and then explained how they would make the proper corrections. During the installation furniture in each room was moved as needed. Drop cloths with floor protection and plastic were used extensively throughout. After completing the work in each room, everything was returned as found and the room was vacuumed for added measure. Afterwards we found our home relatively dust free. To be clear there was some dust but considering all the work performed it was easily addressed. After the installation was completed, we were amazed by the fit and finish at each window. The measurement of the installation was so precise that no tile repair, painting, or drywall work was needed. We are so pleased with these eight windows that we immediately arranged for Guardian to have the remaining six windows in our home to be replaced. In closing, while these new windows look amazing, please consider what you don’t see. "Our doors were ten years old and really looking worn. Marvin came and recommended a color. We ended up having them restore not only our front doors, but garage doors, shutters and corbels! Taking the front doors off and restoring them in a shop is the only way to do this! They color choice was beautiful. The project was completed on time as promised. All of the doors look better than when they were new! People stop and look at our doors and continuously rave about how beautiful they look. Great job, responsive service. "The new windows are fantastic and exceed expectations for improving aesthetics and reducing ambient noise emanating from the neighborhood. We enjoy having easy to operate sashes for those breezy days in spring and fall that Houston permits. My home is typical of west side suburbs built in 1996. These homes are hastily built on a slab with low grade materials and cutting corners is sport dodging building inspectors. We met Ashley Walkes in our home and he was very informative. He talked us through numerous options and discussed at length window anatomy with excellent recommendations in our own interests for the house. We settled on the order and job details in late July and made the install in early October after Hurricane Michael receded. Our job was a long list of particulars with respect to each window. Ashley handled the order without issue or encumbering us with concerns. When the install started there was a dedicated and hardworking four-man crew every day for the entire time which took one week to complete. Numerous problems were encountered during old window extraction due to unconventional construction techniques employed years past. Billy and Mark engineered repairs around the window openings with calculated practice and methodical work ethic. Paul and Tyler were unphased and carried out tasks with deft efficiency. We were very pleased with attention to detail the entire crew afforded our job. The job completed as expected, on time, and per bid. In summary, the windows were delivered and installed with very good workmanship and without undue delays. The quality of the product is as advertised and with definite improvement. Two windows didn’t survive the journey to Texas but one replacement has already been installed and the other is scheduled. "Looked at a number of different companies to replace the shower door and surround.  Ended up using Raintree due to the number of different options they gave us regarding placement of the door.  They were willing to work with us to have the enclosure removed early (at no extra cost) since I wanted to re-caulk and clean and seal the grout.  On the day of the installation, they showed up on time (early) and did a very good job on the installation.  The only complaint I have is they left some very small but sharp pieces of what I think was ceramic on the shower floor.  I ended up cutting myself on one of these pieces.  I would think the company may want to run a shop vac over their work area before they call it a job.  Overall I am very happy with the installed product and would have rated this company an A if not for this issue.  It is also the reason for the professionalism C rating.

"Gearold White and his co-worker showed up right on time to do the job.  I have a lot of concrete, three large driveways, side walks, and a large concrete area surrounding my in ground pool.  All of this concrete had turned black with mold and dirt, and had become very unsightly.  They proceeded to put down a cleaner/mold killer on all the pavement, and then used large buffer machines to scrub the cleaner in and remove the mold/black build up.  Gearold also took it a step further, and when going by any fixed object (out door lamps, patio windows, ect...) he would hit them with the pressure washer and spiff them up just because he could!  I can't say enough good about this man, and his work ethics.  I would recommend him to anyone, and would not worry in the least about what their experience with him would be like.
