"My girlfriend and I recently contacted All Service Moving to help us relocate our furniture from Seattle to Lake City, and the service from them was amazing! Brad and Donald were personable, professional, speedy, and thorough. I definitely recommended their service if you need lots of stuff moved quickly and hiccup-free. They wrapped everything up nicely (they were also very handy with their bubble-wrap, even using it as a doorstop when going in and out for easier access), deconstructed furniture with ease, and overall made the job look so easy!"

"They were prompt, courteous and careful with my belongings. My move date was rescheduled a couple times because of closing issues with my other home and they were flexible with changing my move date. There was an issue with my truck and they had to bring a smaller one, which could not hold all my belongings. But they reached out and refunded the cost of my time for the following day, which is exceptional customer service! I would definitely hire them again!"

"Moved from Carefree, AZ to st George, Utah. This company was fabulous and efficient. We had a storage unit as well as a house and they moved it all! Nothing was broken at the end of the move. Tina coordinated everything so that we moved in a smaller truck.....less $$$$$$ Canâ t say enough about this company. Love, love, them!"

"I have to say, I did not have great expectations hiring a national moving service for a big move from Austin to Albuquerque recently. Mostly because I have had mediocre experiences with big moving companies in the past. Boy, was I wrong! Both Joe Kim, my primary contact, and Lori, one of the logistics people, were outstanding. There wasn't a single glitch along the way, and National's systems were outstanding. I was timely informed about everything along the way, in an unobtrusive way. Highly recommended! Bonus was they were very economical."

"What a great move and service they provided. I could not have done this without them. Thank you very much Mike ( The foreman ) Iserael, Kyler, and Apodaca for all your hard work and taking great care of all my mothers furniture, leather couches, and personal items. These guys were true professionals from the very start to the last minute. I had so much on my mind with my mom, and they took care of everything for me. Thank you Camelback moving and all your greatly appreciated staff. Once again you were a life saver to me."

"Kings Moving Services were extremely professional, honest, and dependable. They were so organized from start to finish, and made this out of state move easy going. They weren’t one of the dishonest brokers, that was just trying to secure my money. They answered all my questions, addressed my concerns, and kept in contact to see how I was doing. They even helped me prepare for my move by sending me tips, and what to expect, and what to look for in a moving company. I didn’t have to move anything, and they even gave me advice on the day of on how to pack some of my more fragile items that I plan on taking personally. I highly recommend Kings Moving Services!!"

"Every portion of the move is contracted out: the guy that comes to do home survey and estimate, movers that load the truck, the driver, the movers that unload the truck. These are all different entities, not a single cohesive company. There is no central coordination or continuity in service. It was the cheapest quote we received and it showed when the job was done. The surveyor was nice when at the home and helpful, but not available to take my calls or answer questions after that. The move coordinator was short, indifferent and rude with a smile. I would avoid this company if possible."

FAQs for out-of-state moving service projects in Higley, AZ

How much money you need to live comfortably in Hawaii varies based on your housing preferences, transportation needs, and lifestyle. Many residents find ways to manage on moderate incomes by choosing less touristy neighborhoods and adapting to local living patterns. Creating a detailed budget that accounts for housing, transportation, groceries, and utilities provides a clearer picture of your specific requirements.

Living in Hawaii on $3,000 monthly is possible with careful budgeting and lifestyle adjustments. Success largely depends on housing costs, which vary significantly between neighborhoods and islands. Many residents find shared living arrangements or smaller accommodations in less expensive areas help manage expenses. Prioritizing necessities, limiting dining out, and embracing local recreational options that don't require significant spending can help stretch your monthly budget while still enjoying island living.

The hidden costs of moving to Hawaii often include unexpected shipping surcharges, agricultural inspection fees, and initial setup expenses. Many newcomers are surprised by delivery access fees for difficult locations, temporary accommodation needs while waiting for household goods, and higher utility deposits. Island-specific expenses like specialized pest control services and humidity-resistant storage solutions may also become necessary. Building a contingency fund of 10 to 15% above your estimated moving budget helps accommodate these unforeseen expenses.

How long it takes to ship household goods to Hawaii depends primarily on your chosen shipping method and departure location. Standard ocean freight often requires three to six weeks from mainland ports, with shared containers sometimes taking longer due to consolidation schedules. Air shipping dramatically reduces transit time to days rather than weeks, but at significantly higher cost. Many residents adopt a hybrid approach, sending essential items by air while allowing bulk possessions to follow by sea.

Whether you need special permits to move to Hawaii depends on the possessions you’re bringing. While American citizens don't need immigration documentation, certain items face strict regulation. Agricultural products, plants, and some animals require special permits or inspection certificates. Vehicle importation requires specific documentation and potential emissions testing. Large shipping containers may need delivery permits in certain residential areas. Consulting with transportation specialists familiar with Hawaii's requirements helps avoid compliance issues.

The items you’re prohibited from shipping to Hawaii include numerous plants, seeds, and fresh produce that might introduce invasive species to the islands' delicate ecosystem. Certain animals face strict prohibition, particularly snakes and other potential invasive species. Hazardous materials, firearms without proper documentation, and controlled substances cannot be shipped. Review current prohibited items lists from shipping companies and Hawaii's Department of Agriculture before packing, as regulations can change, and violations may result in significant penalties.
