"I needed a landscaper because my lawn was a mess (more weeds and moss than grass, it seemed), and water was seeping into the basement because of improper gutter drainage and soil grading. Oh, and there was a critter, possibly the skunk that was seen in the area, burrowing underground where there was a gap near my patio – ugh! I hired M&L because the quote was reasonably priced, and Leo was responsive, understanding and cooperative as my landscaping project evolved. The job he ended up doing included building a trench for the gutter downflow, re-grading the entire lawn, creating flowerbeds, installing a fence, doing concrete work (to keep that critter out!), and paving a small section of the yard to hold trash and recycling bins. Leo and his team showed up when they said they would, worked quickly and efficiently, and with the greatest attitude – all of them were hard-working and easy to deal with. I will definitely hire M&L again for future landscaping jobs, and I highly recommend them to others. My lawn now looks nice and neat, can't wait for the new grass to grow. Thank you, Leo and crew!"

Ben said he would get to us with a quote. About 2 hours later he sent a quote, my husband and I picked out the pavers and he started the same week. "Both Josephs were responsive, courteous, and knowledgeable- They called and came to look at the problem within half a day of my initial inquiry. I was lucky that they happened to be working on another house just a couple of blocks away. So, they came the next day to do work : 1. Fill cracks on the ground, and build a run-off in the alley way to stop water from damaging the exterior wall, and going down to the basement. The basement did remain dry after 2 days of rain after. 2. a few days later, replaced 2 cracked bricks on the facade of the house. I am very impressed with how Joe F. took time to seal the mortar around the bricks so carefully...beautiful work. I recommend them very much!"
