We have extensive knowledge of Benjamin Moore's product lines, and utilize that to customize a plan to take the customer from beginning to completion of their vision for their home. "Not well. In general, the painting was sloppy. Globs of paint were found around the trim work. Spackle was not sanded full smooth and then painted over, leaving the walls not looking smooth. Paint was splash on the cabinets, door handles and hardware, and floors. They left debris in every room that they worked in that we had to clean. They also put chalk between the ceiling and cabinets in the kitchen when it wasn't asked for and when it looked terrible, the owner removed it and scraped the ceiling significantly, then had to be asked to fix his mess. In the end, that area looked worse than it did before the job. This is not a company that respects your house and puts care into their work to make your house better."

Prices are determined by the scope of the project, materials needed, wear and tear on equipment and required profit margin. Competitive Comparison. The contracting and painting market is very competitive. The barriers to entry and exit in this market are very low making this an industry with a large number of rival firms with high turnover rates. "I appreciate the speediness and their open availability since this was a last minute request and we just needed some extra help painting our home, but I felt like I overpaid (~$6.9k) for the quality and customer service of the paint job. I had them complete the following below. I provided the paint, took down all the doors, and reattached them. -Ceilings -Trim for the whole house (~2k sq ft) -Doors -Kitchen Cabinentry -Stair risers They didn't do a good job of retouching the mistakes and paint splatter along the ceilings and walls. Some window trim and doors were missed in the home after further inspection. Fortunately, we were able to touch these up ourselves when we had more time. As for the doors and kitchen cabinetry, I'm not sure if prep work like cleaning and sanding was done because the paint chips off easily and isn't adhering to the surface well. The kitchen cabinets didn't turn out what I was expecting as it still showed the grain lines of the wood. One of the reasons why I hired this company was that they stated that they could do a smooth finish on the cabinets and showed me pictures of previous jobs. The owner didn't come back to our home to do a final walk-through to inspect his guys' work. We spoke mostly via text and I honestly didn't feel comfortable bringing up any issues as he came off annoyed speaking with me and I just wanted to be done dealing with him. I also don't like the fact that they did not have multiple payment methods, but I should have asked before hiring them. So, I was stuck paying them cash via Zelle which made me uncomfortable as I prefer to pay via credit card to protect myself as a consumer. Due to the urgency of the request, I did not get to shop around as long as I would like unfortunately, but they did give us a great referral to have our flooring done."
