"For example, Our Douglas Fir door lost it's beauty over the years because it faces west and the sun and weather had ruined its finish and faded the color. We had several contractors out to fix it over the last 25 years but it never was properly restored to it's original beauty. Bob Fortune from Fortume restoration explained the process of removing the old stain and varnish down to the original wood. Bob helped us with our decisions regarding colors for the restore. Their team came out and slowly stripped and sanded down the previous layers and recoated it so that now it truly is the centerpiece of our brick colonial home."
