"I hired Advanced Seamless Gutters to reroute a downspout to prevent pooling of water and the formation of dangerous ice. They did a fantastic job with the gutter, however I am more and more dismayed when I use HomeAdvisor to hire these professionals. In some cases I do not get the pros that I asked for and in other cases the pay in advance does not work. Not happy with HomeAdvisor."

"Charles Hareld and his wife, Kelly(?), run the business and do most of the work. The first appointment had to be rescheduled because of rain, but I was contacted by Kelly the day before (by phone) to let me know they needed to reschedule. Kelly called a second time with the new appointment date/time. The day before, Kelly called to confirm the expected arrival time (9am) for Charles and his co-worker. They showed up on time. Work was completed in approx. 2.5 hours. Charles directed and performed the majority (or possibly all) the cleaning of the roof and appeared to do a very careful, thorough job. His co-worker provided backup support: managing hoses and cleaning equipment. They were both very friendly and professional. Charles used appropriate safety equipment such that he was 'roped in' using heavy-gauge ropes (like a climber). The cleaning fluid they used did not damage the plants or grass. They cleaned up the roof after the treatment and washed off the house. The cleaning fluid dripped a brown, iron-colored liquid, which showed up on a few places they missed in their cleanup (downspout near garage and west-side of house) but I cleaned this up with the hose and a scrub-brush a few days later. Subsequent heavy rains cleaned up what I could not reach. The roof which, was moss-covered in a section under a tree and algae-streaked everywhere else, now sparkles. I was offered a follow-up treatment in 2 years at 15% of the price I paid for this treatment. I hope they will honor this offer, as I fully intend to have them back. I was not offered this 'plan' in writing, just verbally. Work is guaranteed for 2 years."

"I found good reviews for this company on Angie's List, so I gave them a call.  Al, the owner, returned my call within an hour and we set up an appointment.  He also said that I might find a coupon on Angie's list, and if I did, to call him back and he would change the price of the service.  I did not find a coupon, but I appreciated the fact that he made the offer. <br /> Al called me the day before the appointment to give me a time frame and remind me to make sure the outside water was turned on.  He told me that if I wanted to leave a check on my door I didn't need to be home, but he gave me a 2 hour window for when the workers would be coming. <br /> The 2 guys arrived within the time frame and went right to work.  They were polite and efficient.  The cleaned the gutters by hand and then washed them out with a hose.  After washing out the gutters they washed down my entire deck, and then picked up all of the pine needles and leaves off the ground and took them away.   <br /> The gutters came out great, there were no surprises, no debris left in my yard, and no visit to the hospital for me (which happened the last time I decided to clean gutters myself and fell from the ladder). <br /> WELL WORTH the investment!!  I will call again in the fall to schedule another cleaning, and I would recommend them to anyone needing their gutters cleaned. <br />"
