"The service I rec'd was above and beyond the call of duty. I called Mr. Handyman at 3:30 and by 4:00 a technician was on his way. I thought I had to buy a new storm door since it was bent in so many places from the wind gusts. I drove to home depot and bought a door but it didn't fit in my car, so the technician, Tom, drove over and loaded it in his truck. By now it was 4:30 and getting dark. I told Tom I needed him to get the door installed today since my family would be coming in for Christmas. He said the sun is setting and wasn't sure it was safe working in twilight. With my pushing and cajoling, Tom agreed to try. After surveying the job, he realized the door I got wouldn't work with the deadbolt lock I had taking up room to clear the storm door. Without further complaint, Tom sized up the job and said he thought he could fix the broken door saying" I can fix anything." I had confidence in Tom and a grateful heart. He already had the horses out and the door off the hinges and proceeded to knock out the dents and get the door up. As the job was finished, I asked Tom to put up a mirror that I forgot to have mounted. Tom cheerfully came in the house and put the mirror up and wrote up the bill. I was sure this would be very expensive , being that the job started at Home Depot and ended with the storm door, but Tom agreed to help me by returning the $290. door without charging me for his time. You don't get that kind of service these days. Tom was so nice and patient, and I was a bit hysterical making soup and baking a coffee cake for my family. Everything turned out, my family came in and there were no residual effects of the wind storm that bent the storm door. I am very grateful that Mr. Handyman was there for me! Thank you!"

"<p>It went very well, even though I received bad news that the cabinet I'd thought needed repair can't be fixed.  The carpenter gave me a number of suggestions that will need to be considered before moving forward and made a concerted effort to provide other services, repairing two sets of bi-fold doors and two other doors that would not close properly.  He removed trim from the upper kitchen cabinets on one side of the room since all of the trim was improperly installed (glued only and the glue has dried out so the trim was simply in place with nothing to hold it) by the original contractor 8 years ago.   I will think about his suggestions and if I choose to do anything I will re-contact this company first! </p> <br />"

"Job consisted of installing garage insulation/drywall, fixing tape (that connects drywall throughout entire garage), applying Sheetrock, sanding, &amp; painting entire garage. Very impressed at professionalism and excellent detailed work done. Very happy/amazed with outcome. Such a large job that Carlson made look very simple with his efficiency/skills. Would definitely hire Carl W. Carlson again, as heâ s very detailed as well as resourceful. He not only did the detailed work perfectly, but ended up doing much more than what planned (taking ramp apart/out of garage, taking commercial tread out, transferring to POD, answering questions which had nothing to do with why hired him (I.e. door handle installation questions on storm door; he gave helpful answers that saved me much time). He ended up recommending/fixing more problems than realized garage had, Even lighting Is 100 times better than before. Definitely highly recommend! PS By the way, he volunteered to help family member take extremely rusted bolt license plate off (has every right tool you can think of). Also, he recommended the POD (which never thought of) for commercial treadmill, since wanted garage floor epoxied afterwards. HIGHLY RECOMMEND CARL W. CARLSON for any Jakob.
