In total, I feel he (and his crew) went way above and beyond in doing the roofing. Replaced all vents with proper types. Capped one he didn't probably need to, but he said he was afraid the pipe might have been cracked inside the house, thus allowing a water leak. He and his crew were efficient and got the job done very quickly...and I know it was done correctly! His charge was VERY reasonable and he put some confidence back in me that there are still good roofing contractors out there. (Last year I dealt with a local contractor that I could only say was a real shyster. In fact he was fined by the State Of MN for his bad business practices. It was a very bad experience for me!) Bottom line: If I would ever need another roofing done, I'd call Bormann Bros. contracting! I highly recommend them!!"

Their project manager Cristina was good to interact with and she was able to schedule in the jobs and got it done within three weeks since the contract and initial down payment was made. There was a minor issue and in that i felt the contractor could have been proactive in taking measures to color match the siding instead of relying on homeowner. After the job was done, the nails were not cleaned up completely around the house. I had a flat tire and I don't think the cause was completely based on them not completely cleaning. I would definitely hire them again.."

They replaced our Sliding patio doors in the Family Room, Picture Window in the Living Room, and 2 other windows-one in the kitchen and another they enlarged the opening and installed a crank out in a bathroom remodel we had done last year. The vinyl windows/patio doors they use are from Alside and are excellent quality. After the hail storm here in Bloomington in 2013 they replaced our roof. We had many color choices to choose from and the roof was completed timely and was great quality. Jim worked with my insurance company and the project went smoothly."

One of the four said he would not give me an estimate unless we signed up with him. (He did not get hired) Called all four within 1 hour I received a call back from Brad from Ken's Roofing. Made arrangement for an estimate, received the estimate the next day and stated if he was chosen he could also meet with the adjuster from our insurance company. "We received an estimate for window replacement in our home. Overall we liked the salesman and thought we would go with them until we visited their showroom. The double hung windows there would not stay open to the position they were left in. The person working the area explained that the windows received more cycles (opening and closing) than would be expected in actual usage and they just needed "tweaking". The sashes have a screw type rotary spring system to assist the sash and it looked to me like the system may have been the problem. Anyway, it put us off of Wellington. If your product isn't perfect in your showroom I was afraid of having it in my home."
