"Replaced brick front steps with bluestone; cleaned and repointed chimney and brick wall; cleaned and reset brick walkway and patio. We are very please with the quality of the work. Paul, the owner, was onsite at least twice a day, explained what was being done that day. The 3 man crew was the hardest working crew I've ever seen. Cleaned up after work every day. Would definitely hire AI Masonry again!"

"Everything went very well. Ron has a small team that he works with to complete his jobs. He was on-site nearly every day and completed the majority of the work with Dan, someone who has been working with Ron for nearly 10 years. After they removed the deck, we had siding missing. Dan has many years of experience with siding and did a great job of replacing the missing siding (after matching the old siding color at Home Depot and painting the new siding, it is difficult to distinguish the new siding from the old). Their attention to detail was wonderful. Whenever it came to a design question or how to lay out the pavers, they made sure to check with us before proceeding. They also were careful and proactive in protecting our new driveway, fixing any soil that got damaged by their equipment, and cleaning up after their work. The concrete slab is a beauty. Ron placed large stones on the two sides of the shed base that cut into the hill, and it looks great. This is one of the nicest shed bases I’ve seen. I would work with Ron again – no hesitation! He was punctual, communicated well, and worked closely with us to ensure the patio was what we wanted. After hiring Ron to do this work, I was happy by the uniformly positive feedback I heard from others who have worked with him (e.g., workers at Sensenig's where we purchased the pavers). Although his operation is small (there are no fancy brochures or sweet-talking salespeople), it is nice knowing that you will get the “A-Team” if you hire Ron because he has only 1 team and he is on it. He also does not have much of a web presence as he relies primarily on word of mouth. In total, we paid $33,900 for this work and are happy with this price and our finished product."

"<hr /> Curb it did a great job installing the concrete curbing for my landscape. Robs crew was very curtious as well as hard working. Rob was very professional and helpful in the process. Curb it is very clean and does a real good job of not making a mess. Robert really cares about the product and how it looks when finished. I highly recommend.. <br />"

"This company is great. Not only does he plow, but he comes back even in the same day to check if we need plowing again. Dave is perhaps the greatest guy to do business with. He is very understanding and knows his customers individual situation well. We are seniors and have some health problems, he does extra things to try and make life a little easier in the snow belt here in Western NY. I would not want anyone else to plow and am very glad we started with Dave and D & D Landscaping. Thanks --"

"Pat and his crew were kind, friendly, and professional. First, Pat always called us back and kept us informed of the project status. He was there to answer any questions no matter how insignificant they were or how busy Pat may have been. Pat is a good salesman but his recommendations are justifiable. For example, when I wanted to build a slightly smaller shed, Pat convinced me that adding the extra square footage would be well worth it and he was right! Pat was also correct when he persuaded us to add the retaining wall to hold back soil and divert water. We were’t going to add the sidewalk but after speaking with Pat, we learned that some of our water problems were due to shoddy work from the previous contractor. See, the company who installed our old sidewalk poured the concrete on dirt without using any stone base. Subsequently, the sidewalk heaved downward toward the house, allowing water to penetrate our garage. The new sidewalk is not only whiter and crisper looking, but we don’t find any water in our garage after a heavy rain storm. <br /> The patio looks good! We chose stamped concrete and had a few challenges during the stamping and pouring process. Pat worked with us to resolve these imperfections and, as a result, the imprints are defined and the colors vibrant. Pat’s crew took great care to ensure our patio would be welcoming and of the highest integrity. Pat’s craftsmanship and dedication to customer service is exemplified in his final product. We are very happy with our patio and look forward to many summers of use. Many thanks to Pat and his crew for making our outdoor project a reality. <br /> <br /> <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Holley, NY

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
