"Replaced brick front steps with bluestone; cleaned and repointed chimney and brick wall; cleaned and reset brick walkway and patio. We are very please with the quality of the work. Paul, the owner, was onsite at least twice a day, explained what was being done that day. The 3 man crew was the hardest working crew I've ever seen. Cleaned up after work every day. Would definitely hire AI Masonry again!"

"Ron and his team did a AWSOME job. They removed a walkway that was falling apart with old, worn and broken pavers and replaced it with a beautiful walkway/patio. We wanted an updated look around our in ground pool. He removed our outdated and overground landscape and added to the existing patio to give us an entertainment area. Ron is 100% professional, and covers all the areas and goes the extra mile to make sure all the work is done to the customers satisfaction. He protected all our outside walls, the pool itself, and grated the areas affected by the new concrete. He made sure everything was completely finished. He left no stone unturned. (no pun intended) All these factors to contribute to not only a job well done, but a job that you will be both pleased and proud. I would hire this man any day of the week and twice on Sunday."

"They were personable and timely.  They produced beautiful, high quality work.  They offered good suggestions, and returned my calls promptly.  The weather was very bad around this time and prevented us from sticking strictly to the original schedule.  I thought this was going to hold the project up, but he actually completed the work sooner than I expected.  He was very honest and professional.  I was very pleased with the end result and would highly recommend Clark and Wolcott."

"<hr /> Curb it did a great job installing the concrete curbing for my landscape. Robs crew was very curtious as well as hard working. Rob was very professional and helpful in the process. Curb it is very clean and does a real good job of not making a mess. Robert really cares about the product and how it looks when finished. I highly recommend.. <br />"

"This company is great. Not only does he plow, but he comes back even in the same day to check if we need plowing again. Dave is perhaps the greatest guy to do business with. He is very understanding and knows his customers individual situation well. We are seniors and have some health problems, he does extra things to try and make life a little easier in the snow belt here in Western NY. I would not want anyone else to plow and am very glad we started with Dave and D & D Landscaping. Thanks --"

"<p>The project was started one week from the contract signing date. The service was professional and the workers skilled. The owner of the company kept me informed of the progress on a daily basis as I was out of town. He provided excellent guidance in the process of choosing the stamped design and coloring for the walkway/patio. When I arrived home one week later it was a gorgeous site! I would recommend this company in a heartbeat. Thanks to Caldwell's Custom Design the outward appearance of my property, is a welcoming site!</p> , <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Holley, NY

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
