"We were given a reasonably good priced quote to move us from Denver to San Angelo, TX on a specific schedule that we needed because of our special needs child. We were told the move would be done in one large moving van. We were told they had an office and storage facility here in San Angelo. None of those things were true. They showed up at 8:00 PM to load things. The manager, using an alias informed me that they actually didn't use a large van and that they would have to charge an additional $2,200 to meet the schedule we were promised. We were hours from having to be out of our home. My wife panicked and we paid the extra charge. The total cost of the move was more than twice the estimate. It took almost a month to get the final load, and we are missing over $5,000 worth of our belongings. When we asked how to file an insurance claim the manager refused to tell me who the insurance company was and instead referred us to an intermediary with no real address or phone. "

"Their price was the best and I was skeptical after reading other reviews where people said they increased the price upon arrival. I inquired about this and my sales rep said this is usually for additional items not included in the quote, which makes sense. As I was packing I called Aaron to add things so there were no surprises at the cost of my move. The guys showed up on time and drove my furniture to my elderly parents' house in Delaware, where they kindly set up the bed at no extra charge. Aaron was wonderful and responsive the whole time. "The efforts of the movers who packed up my home went well; After speaking to Eli, I opted for the services that grouped my items for an interstate move, that stated items would arrive between 8-10 business days of the earliest move in date; after giving the date, it required several calls to coordinate the actual day. The second set of movers arrived at the appointed time then angled for a tip stating that there was an elevator charge of $300 (would it have been better to use the stairs to a 4th floor apt). Two small incidents with the move in-2 pieces of furniture were damaged, which I filed with the moving company, 3 months later no word on that claim, and, the movers failed to wash their hands after using my bathroom. Going forward, To have better control over the delivery and quality of work of the move effort, on both ends, I found it easier to coordinate the 3 phases of packing, moving and unpacking on my own; and hopefully I will see the funds from the insurance claim."
