I looked up pricing (I would have paid) for items installed (pressure tank is biggest available) and found that he was extremely reasonable on both supplies and work rates. "<p>            We originally found Mr. Pearl through this service. From the first phone call Mr. Pearl "Troy" was a professional and that carried through out the job. He was very detail oriented and settled any concerns that I had with answers that he had obviously  gotten from years of experience. Once I explained what I wanted he gave me some options that I had not considered that actually saved us money. Once we decided on a price that was what I consider fair, we signed a contract that spelled out everything he and I were responsible for. </p> <p>           Since this was a second home and I would not be there during the construction of the addition It was tough to put my faith in someone we had just met but it was worth it, Troy is a man of his word they were at the job when we agreed his people were neat and the workmanship was quality. I would not hesitate to recommend his operation to anyone. </p> <p>            The job involved an addition to an existing log home, He started when he was suppose to and any delays were weather related or due to change orders, they matched the new part so that it looks like it was there from day one. The project also needed some site work as well as concrete, electrical, and plumbing. </p> <p>              I really did not have any serious issues once we started and If I have any issues at all they are not with Pearl Contracting they were with the subs he used specifically the plumbing and alarm co. I'm pretty sure that if you ask Troy he either is not using them anymore or will tell you what the issues were.     </p> Regardless of the subs lacking Troy made what they were responsible for happen. <br />"

"Halldale Builders performed work to add an in--law apartment onto our existing home, consisting of one bedroom, great room, kitchen area, bath. They joined the buildings with a mud room on the inside and a farmer's porch stretching the length of both buildings on the exterior. They do impeccable wood work. My closets, window and door trim, floor boards are all beautiful. They built cathedral ceilings in tongue and groove pine which are gorgeous. They installed a LifeProof floor which I am very pleased with. After the initial experience, we increased our budget and plans extensively to include more features. The construction included a complex roof which they managed without issue. They always had good suggestions and made the whole process worry-free. Any problems were quickly met with solutions. The owner, Glenn, helped me manage work being done through other companies, for example, we swapped out our heating system for an entirely new system to span both buildings. These builders have all the right contacts for cement work, electrical, plumbing, etc. I would wholeheartedly recommend Halldale Builders for any home construction project. These guys are perfectionists and truly care about the quality of their work and customer satisfaction. Perhaps the best testament of their work....We are in their queue waiting to get work done on the original house when they can fit us in."

The equipment was excellent, their knowledge level was excellent, and the basement dried. "We used this company several years ago and were very happy. Then and now, we found the people very easy to work with. <br /> He was supposed to show up at 9 but didn't arrive until 9:30. He didn't call but he did apologize for being late. We were fine with that as he looked the work over and got right to it. He, as well as any we have dealt with at this company, was very polite, considerate, and personable. He also spoke highly of his boss and company which is a rarity these days. Phil was going to put booties on his shoes, but since it was a nice day, we told him not to bother...he was hesitant but complied with our request. <br /> He did a great job on everything and took the liberty to do some things above and beyond for appearance and utility reasons. He worked hard all day and wouldn't accept anything we offered but water. <br /> The only issue we had was the final bill in which we incurred overtime charges that we were not aware of up front. We paid it but told the company we felt misinformed by not being aware that rates change after so many hours. THE COMPANY MADE IT RIGHT!!! You don't see that very often. <br /> These are the kind of people I would want helping my elder friends. You might pay a little more than "Joe handyman" but they are reputable and stand behind their work...you get what you pay for. <br /> I recommend them to anyone except those who want to pay cheaply for shoddy workmanship. We will call them again if the need arises!! <br />"
