"I also had a brick window box rebuilt on my home that is 10 years old. they were able to match the brick colors much better than I anticipated. It looks great !! My chimney was tuck pointed - Excellent - and capped. the brick base of my garage had several areas where the 100 year old bricks were disintegrating - these were repaired using matched bricks and "restoration" concrete. It looks fantastic! I would definitely recommend Unlimited Masonry to anyone - especially anyone who has an older brick or brick/stucco home. They listened, answered all my questions, and did a great job!!"

"We had Empire Stone Masonry over to take care of a variety of things - tuck-pointing, cutting into brick so we could add a light, repairing concrete, and sealing between concrete slabs. Thanks Duane and Ben for doing a great job! We appreciate them making an extra trip to the store to sure they used mortar that matched the original. We highly recommend Empire Stone - they were quick to come out and provide an estimate and sent qualified employees out quickly to get the work done! "

"We had three estimates and Roger was our clear choice because he noticed so many important things that needed fixing that the other two missed. His higher level of expertise was obvious. This work included many projects, involving a tremendous amount of labor. It took several weeks to totally complete. Roger offered suggestions for our front steps, which could have been left as concrete but we decided to splurge and use our favorite rock as an overlay. We special ordered Morton Gneiss (rock) from Coldspring for the step overlays and the buttress caps, in addition to the special order of two colors of brick for the buttresses. We personally researched and chose the rock and the brick. Roger has the experience and expertise to know what should be done and how best to do it. We enjoyed meeting and working with Roger and his crew. He has the most amazing crew of extremely experienced and expert workers. We can't say enough good things about Curtis, Chris, and Chaz. Their work was remarkably meticulous and skilled and showed the pride they take in it. In addition, they are very personable and courteous. They tidied up before leaving each day. If they came upon unforeseen problems, they discussed them with us and then fixed them, some at no extra charge. They even prepared a base and moved the two former heavy concrete buttress caps to our boulevard to use as a walkway at no charge. As a potential customer, if Roger doesn't get back to you right away, don't give up because he does return calls and he is most definitely worth the wait. He is extremely busy and we feel very fortunate that he was the contractor for our project."

Customers say: True professional

"Jason, the owner of the company sent his son to the job. In conversation with him, I found out he had been working for his father for 7 years. I must say that their previous job ran a little over due to the rain for the past few days, but they did arrive before noon as promised. Jason taught his son well. The bricks on the house were over 30 years old so were no longer available! The son stated he had some that he thought matched pretty close, and if he cut them in half, it would be about 1/4 inch differant. Clever idea and when he laid 3 of them out, if you weren't familar with the project, one would never know!! I was very impressed with not only the expertise he showed in laying the brick, but the workmanship and cleanup were all outstanding. It was a great conversation and listening to him and finding out we had a few things in common. MORA! If I need any more brick work or tuck pointint i would certainly give them a call again"

"Luke completed two projects for us. He tiled a front entry floor and created a more pleasing front porch design by building out an existing post and covering it with stone to match stone on the front of the house. Both projects were completed in a timely fashion. He takes time to listen to customers, his work is exacting and carefully completed. His rates are reasonable. Both projects turned out beautifully! Thanks Luke!"

A professional repointing lasts 20 to 30 years without maintenance and extends up to 50 years when maintained diligently. This process protects your brickwork using high-quality materials that ensure lasting performance and durability. Consistent upkeep preserves its strength and appearance, providing enduring protection and enhancing your home’s overall structural integrity for decades.

You know your house needs repointing when you notice clear signs such as cracked, flaking, or missing mortar and visible discoloration on the brick surfaces. Additional indicators include loose bricks, water damage, and gaps between the brick joints that compromise the overall integrity of the structure. Addressing these issues promptly protects your investment and sustains the durability and curb appeal of your home.

A house needs repointing to preserve both its structural integrity and visual appeal. Mortar acts as a vital bonding agent that holds the bricks securely together. When the mortar deteriorates, it exposes the structure to water infiltration and further decay, increasing the risk of costly repairs. Repointing stops decay and reinforces the exterior, ensuring long-term protection.
