"The experience went quite well. The stoop is wonderful. Although I am not a mason, I can tell there was much attention to detail. John also installed extra protection from moisture behind the new stoop, such as a waterproof membrane. I am confident that this stoop will last a long time.

John was upfront that he and his staff might find other things that required repairing in order to prevent water from entering my house. As it turns out, there was significant water damage to the joist behind the stoop that supported the front door. John explained the facts and left it to me to decide whether I repaired it. He didn't try to pressure or scare me.
