"Work was bid and scheduled for July 24.  I liked the fact that PCA was willing to use the existing serviceable parts rather than providing an entire new gate, although he would have installed a new gate if I wanted.   I was put on a list in case they had an opening in the work schedule, and because of this I was able to get the work done a full week earlier than was scheduled.  <br /> After the work was completed there was followup to assure I was happy with the results.  <br /> In addition, Joe (the owner) provided a lifetime guarantee on the gate hardware. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Quadra inspected the crawl space and discovered water underneath and on top of the vapor barrier. The estimated work and time needed for full mitigation was two weeks. The cost estimate was on accurate, but needed an addendum to account for an additional pump due to the extensive amount of water. The crawl space was approximately 2,000 sq. feet to be mitigated. Their work included cutting an additional access hole to provide entry to otherwise inaccessible areas in the crawl space. They had to trench a perimeter ditch along the inside of the foundation, provide fans to accelerate the drying process, remove the previous vapor barrier, install plastic pipe within the ditch, along with gravel/rock for future water invasion, connect the piping to two sump pumps which in turn were connected to a trench they dug to our previously existing French Drain. Great, hard working guys did all of this within two weeks, to account for the initial drying out period and the challenging work of digging in a very low, constricted space. <br />"

"Craig used extreme care during the entire process! He contacted each neighbor, informed them of work being done, and inquired if there were any structures/vegetation that needed to be protected. For those who had need, he built barriers to protect my neighbors' property. He kept his equipment and work areas organized and clean, maintained communication with me, treated my property with utmost respect, and he performed as his contract described. With the amount of work and care Craig was observed using, his rates/fees were more than fair! I will be using him again!"

"Not what I expected for the price but you get what you pay for. The fence was installed with very little attention to detail. The material is what you would expect from an iron fence but the installation is where we have issues. The contractor cut pieces either too short and had to "jimmy" a fix or it was too long and is not symmetrical when screwed to the main post. The fabrication of the fence sections are poorly done. Several sections are not even level with one another (after install) which is something I would expect to not be an issue for 2K. Overall, the fence is doing what it is suppose to do. We have no problems there. However, when it comes to aesthetics, the fence looks like a DIY project built by a first timer such as myself. <br /> If details are important than I would consider a different contractor. If price is what you would rather have (and a friendly contractor) than this might be the right company for hire. Unfortunately we went for price and we are paying for it again in the details. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Being somewhat new to the Boise area and not having a built our current home I had no idea who to turn to in having this window replaced that crack as the result of heat and shifting. I pulled the name off of the window and contacted the manafacturer who put me in touch with Franklin Building Supply. Upon calling FBS, they informed me that my window was not under warranty but that they do replace broken panes and would be happy to come out and take a look. It took the installer, Jason, about two weeks to make an appointment and come measure the window which he did on 4/3/14. It was ordered on 4/7/14 and installed on 4/17/14 by Jason. He was appropriately professional and did a quality job installing the new pane. It took him a total of 15 minutes from pulling up curbside to my paying him and him driving away. It was only when he drove away did I take the opportunity to look at the invoice he handed me. The window was a 3/4' OA low E pane measuring 33.75 x 21.6875, The cost of the piece of glass was $39.93. The labor, which took less than 15 minutes to completely install, cost an additional $125.00. It is this fact alone that I will never use this company again as that is absolutely ridiculous. Jason told me it would take less than 20 minutes to replace upon coming out to measure the window. When I was quoted the repair price by Cory, the $ man, I thought it was quite high but assumed that was because it was a very and quot;specialand quot; piece of glass. Not until actually having the invoice in hand was I made aware of the shocking installation cost. Totally unreasonable in my estimation and since the installer was already aware of the very low commitment of time it would take to do during the period he was measuring the new window he should have charged a far less amount. I understand their is a possibility of him breaking the glass upon removing the other pane but 3x the actual cost of replacement is ridiculous. <br />"

"I was under contract to purchase a foreclosed home from a bank. During the inspection it was determined that the furnace had been dismantled and lay in pieces. I asked a friend for a referral and a tech came out to take a look. He took one look and said I needed a whole new furnace and it would cost several thousand dollars. The next day, I went online and found an ad on Craigslist for The Trade Source. They were offering free no obligation quotes. The tech came out the same day and inspected the furnace. He took a look at everything and said he could put it all back together which he did in less than 20 minutes. He then cleaned it out and made sure it was working. We had no problems passing the inspections and appraisal before we closed. After closing, we had them come back out to do a thorough inspection and cleaning. I have referred them to numerous people and they always do a great job at a reasonable price. <br />"
