"The first time I called Weston Trawick was to get a large fluorescent light fixture installed over my kitchen counter. Their team (JH/TH) arrived on time and got right to work. It was necessary to remove the existing fixture and relocate the ceiling connection a bit, so required some work in the attic. It was a nice surprise that they were able to position the base of the light in a way that no ceiling patching was necessary. The second time I called Weston Trawick was the next day when a large Laurel Oak tree fell on the power line damaging the roof weatherhead and meter box. A different Weston Trawick team (JW/RK) came to the rescue that same day and was able to get the parts, do the repairs, reground, and coordinate an inspection so that the power could be restored by evening. Both teams and office staff were great to work with and I will definitely use them again."

"The back of our house has never looked great. Not enough sun. Grass always died in patches. Finally,after 15 years we decided to do something to improve it. We drew up a rough plan and made a visit to Mayday to get their help. Mark came out to the house and did a rough layout of the plan and suggested modifications. When we were somewhat in agreement he went back to the shop to work up a price. He called the next morning and had the estimate. We went back to Mayday to look at the different synthetic grasses on display. We also looked at the pavers he suggested using. After a few changes he came back to the house and did a more detailed layout. We gave him a deposit on 3/11 and they ordered what was needed. In a couple of days the workers were at the house preparing the site and laying the pavers. It took about a week for the synthetic grass to arrive from Texas. When it came in, they were at the house to complete the job. When finished our backyard looked great! My wife was happy and therefore I was happy. "This is actually the second time we have worked with Brandon Jett (Jett Builders Inc). A few years ago we hired Jett Concrete to replace our driveway and they did an amazing job; I had no idea that he was also a general contractor until I saw the name pop up on Angies List. <br /> When getting ready to quote, Brandon Jett makes a visit to walk through and discuss what your goals are. One of our goals was to have the garage door sealed up so that trash and bugs would not enter under the door and to make it easier to keep the garage walls clean. I had already tried various weather stripping and seals but it never quite did the trick. He listened to the goals, looked everything over, and recommended a new garage door and opener to ensure a good seal. He also recommended applying a hard coat over everything (ceiling and walls) to even out the old and new work and make everything easier to keep up as well as a floor coating to make the floors easier to keep clean. <br /> We got quotes from three different providers as always and Jett was in <br /> the middle range. The Jett quote was received first and we tried to <br /> match everyone else to the work described in this quote. The work <br /> described in each quote was not exactly the same since one of the other <br /> providers would not do the garage door. The lowest quote provider really <br /> only did drywall hanging and painting (our original plan) and wasn't <br /> too sure about doing the rest of the work.
