American Janitorial Services, INC d/b/a American Window Cleaning is Alaska's oldest and most reputable window cleaning company. Having been in business under the same family ownership since 1964. Tom Rosling's blood, sweat and tears built this business and his honor and reputation is the glue that has held it together. Through the years, many other companies have challenged him, his name and his reputation by making false statements, accusations, attempting to drag his name down to try and better their own. The Rosling family has always taken the higher road and let their quality, knowledge, honesty and dependability speak for itself. You don't stay in business for 50 years and remain the largest, most sought after company in the state by producing poor quality or service. The day to day operations are now ran by his daughter, Amy who was born into the business and has worked every aspect of it through out the years. Amy is out in the field almost every day of the year and during the summer months you are likely to see Tom by her side. In the winter months, we run a core group we fondly call our "Varsity team" of 6-10 employees and vamp up our staffing in the summer months with equally as experienced window cleaners along with entry level positions to 15-20 employees. We hold approximately 85% of the commercial accounts in Anchorage and are the only company that remains consistent in our loyalty to our customers outside the Anchorage and Valley areas including the Kenai Peninsula and our bi-annual visits to our loyal customers in Fairbanks. Our accounting department works closely with the crew and creates invoices upon job completion. We offer internet invoicing via email, faxed invoicing and regular Postal mailed invoicing to suit each clients needs. Our invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise negotiated within their contracts, however, if our clients find themselves requiring special consideration, a simple phone call to us will find someone more than willing to make special considerations. We are licensed, bonded and insured. Requiring each employee to pass an annual background check. We have a strict anti-drug and alcohol policy and offer wellness awards and safety awards to our employees for motivation.

You’ll want to clean gutters once or twice a year—in early spring and again in fall—to keep water flowing and avoid pricey leaks. Homes tucked beneath tall trees or hit with heavy debris may need two to four visits instead. Staying on schedule protects your roof, siding, and foundation from costly water damage.
Even with gutter guards, plan on an occasional cleaning—just not as often as homes without guards. Installing gutter guards blocks leaves, but grit and shingle granules still slip through and pile up over time. A quick sweep keeps water moving and stops overflow that can damage your roof or foundation.
Watch for overflowing water, slow or silent downspouts, sagging sections, or debris peeking over the gutter edge. You might also spot water stains, weeds, or an increasing number of ants in certain areas. Any of these red flags means it’s time to call a gutter cleaning pro for service before minor clogs turn into major leaks.
Skip cleanings for too long and gutters overflow, sending water under shingles, down siding, and toward the foundation. The result can be mold, rotted fascia, basement leaks, and repair bills that dwarf the price of a quick cleaning. It can also mean that future cleanings will be more expensive as it will take pros longer to deep clean gutters that are full of heavy debris. Staying on schedule saves money and headaches.
Plan on gutter cleaning service to take an average of one hour for an average single-story home and two to three hours for taller houses. Add extra time if gutter guards need to come off or clogs are packed in. Pros work methodically, clearing every linear foot so water can flow freely again.
