Jack took on this huge project and overcame all of the many challenges, including a long delay due to insurance and our living upstairs all but the first 5 nights. That slowed the work but he knew how much we did not want to be in an apartment for months, so he organized the work around us.. We took the opportunity, with Jack's expert help, to modernize and have upgrades installed. Everything was done properly. His crews were efficient and cleaned up every day. Our neighbors commented that there was never any trash left outside. We are very happy with our new downstairs, and highly recommend Jack for any job, no matter how large or small."

"Hiring Jim Johnson / Texas Select Builders to remodel our kitchen was the best decision we could have made. Our remodel involved moving walls and columns, reconstructing counters, replacing countertops, sink and lighting, painting cabinets and installing tile. The project was completed on time and within budget without any surprises. What I loved was Jim’s ability to provide GREAT design advice and plenty of examples to help us fine tune our choices. He’s up front on honest and proved to be a phenomenal problem solver. His crew was friendly and courteous and his job foreman was wonderful as well. Jim was there for much of the process and was very communicative which made us feel very comfortable. We are so incredibly happy with end result! He turned our out-dated taupe, claustrophobic kitchen into the open, new and modern grey & white kitchen of our dreams. Saving like mad now so we can hire him to do the same for our master bath. They may not be the cheapest quote you’ll get but you’ll have your project completed to your satisfaction, on time and without any expensive surprises. "Brandon returned my call promptly and came out to give a detailed estimate for painting, repairing, and doing small remodeling work on my home to get it ready to sell. I decided not work with him almost before he was done completing the estimate, because I felt like he insulted my home and my subdivision. He went so far as to say he wouldn't bother doing any of the remodeling work if he were me because I live in "fill-in-the-blank subdivision" and you won't get your money back. I will note that the repairs and small remodeling work I specifically asked him to do, were the specific items my real estate agent suggested for a better resale value of my home, based on my neighborhood. Brandon even went so far as to suggest that the quality of people in my neighborhood and the schools we are zoned to are sub-par.

"We’re currently remodeling two bathrooms under the same contract. The first bathroom is complete, and the second one just started this week. While their bid wasn’t the lowest we received, it felt fair and, in hindsight, definitely worth it. The project manager was an excellent communicator—knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and never pressured us to accept the offer. We’re extremely pleased with the quality of work on the first bathroom and are confident the second will turn out just as well. A tip for future clients: make sure you have all the necessary materials on hand. We did, and the team completed the bathroom ahead of schedule. The space is narrow, so the photo angles don’t do it justice, but I hope they still give a sense of the high-quality work delivered."
