"Jason and his team are a joy to work with. They have performed landscaping services for us since 2019 and I will never use another landscaper; he's created dedicated, lifelong customers in us. I would recommend him and his team to anyone. They are priced right, honest, good communicators, and get the work done in a timely manner; that's huge in home projects. Most important, Jason really listens to what the homeowner wants and isn't afraid to suggest alternate ideas if the homeowner's idea can't or won't work for various reason. He truly wants your lawn, driveway, patio, or whatever work he is doing, to turn out beautifully -- and it always does. Give him a call today!"

"Wonderful experience with Better Yards and Gardens. Good communication, great patience with property being in Saint Paul and challenging little acreage of a backyard. Patio is beautiful! And the cleanup of retaining wall beds and beds along house and putting in landscape rock looks great. Timing to schedule was short and the project was completed in a day and a half. Would definitely recommend Better Yards and Gardens!"

"These guys did a great job. John came out to give me an estimate and he suggested a couple of different ideas to update the existing landscaping. They were able to start work on the project within a couple of weeks and completed the job very quickly. The people doing the work were very friendly and took time to explain to me what they were doing and let me make choices about the planting placement. The end result was amazing! I think I got a great result for a good price. The price included removing all the existing rock and plantings from the previous landscaping."

"I recommend them for various reason: Great communication with customer On time on the job sight Finishing on time Good quality of work Family run"

"Before they came our yard was in need of improvements, They did a great job and the yard looks awesome!"

"Really well - i have used several small landscapers (and even other contractors) over the years, and Josh was by far the best overall experience.  I got his name from a friend who used him for a larger project last year.  I think the price was fair but not cheap, hence my B rating there, but honestly I was not really able to get an equivalent bid from anyone else.  So i could be wrong there.   Overall the experience from sales through design and execution was great.  Josh is knowledgeable and easy-to-work-with, not typical pushy sales.  He worked with us on a great design from my rudimentary sketch, and it turns out to be EXACTLY what we wanted.  We engaged him in the fall, and they were not able to get the project done before winter (although he had never promised to.)  But he said we'd be first on the list in the spring.  He contacted us in March to finalize plans and get a deposit, then got the work done ASAP in mid-April.  They came when they said they would, with a crew of 3 and got the project done in 3 days.  I can't speak to long term quality, but am extremely pleased so far, and hopeful it holds up.   Since this is a front patio, we get many compliments from neighbors on the sidewalk, and have shared Josh's name several times.  Would recommend him highly!  Thanks again, Josh!
