Small jobs welcome

DAM Concrete is a new company, built off of 10+ years in the trade. I started with my families company in Toledo, OH and then I joined Local 886 as an apprentice and in 4 years I became a Foreman. I decided to move down the Columbus 3 years ago working as a supervisor for a company. I've been on all sorts of projects from residential driveways and stamped patios, to commercial warehouses and apartment building to just name a few. I've always had the goal to own my own company one day, and I'm starting to live that dream.

"Ron, the owner gave us an estimate and called with a proposed date to complete the project.  He did not ask for any deposit and said we could pay him when we were satisfied with the job.  On the first day they removed the old patio using a bobcat with a hydraulic hammer.  I told him that I didn't want the yard damaged so he said that he would bring the bobcat in the yard only one time and he kept his word.  The bobcat didn't do any damage.  They hauled the broken concrete through the garage utility door using a wheelbarrow.. The next day they formed the new patio and verified with my wife that they design was satisfactory.  Due to the extreme heat they decided to pour the concrete the following morning to assure a quality result.  The next day they poured the concrete using wheelbarrows.  After the concrete partially dried they applied a powder and used stamp pads and formed the design in the concrete.  Stamping concrete is a very messy job and the powder is very dusty.  The following day they came back to clean and seal the stamped concrete.  I was impressed with their knowledge of the business, their attention to detail (not damaging my yard) and their willingness to work in extreme heat.  . They were also careful to clean the house, driveway and the area at the end of each day and upon completion of the job.   "

"Justin was very professional.  When he was unable to complete the work on the original scheduled date, he called in advance and explained the situation as to why he needed to come out the following week.  The job took three days to complete.   Justin and another worker had to remove the toilet in the half bath. There was a $50 charge for that job.  When it came time to reinstall the toilet, Justin discovered it needed new bolts and he went out right away to purchase them.  He came back shortly and completed the job.  He took the time to explain how to care for the floor afterwards.   The finished floor looks very nice and we are happy with the final product.  I only wish the cleanup from the dust would have been a little more thorough.  Other than that, I would definitely hire Justin again if the need arises. <br />"
