"Weeding is such an inadequate term for what Mark and his team did for us. Due to some family issues, we fell tremendously behind in the weeding out by the street. We have a very large area under two trees with some ground cover, ferns, hostas and the like. It was nit-picky work and there was milkweed, sumac trees, thistles, and clover etc. There were three workers and they spent all afternoon on the job. It It looks so much better! <br /> Mark was responsive to my calls, calling me back the same day. He came out and gave me an estimate for the weeding (which was $250) and we scheduled a day for him to come. They showed up the day he said they would. Before the scheduled day, I had called him up to ask him to remove two broken tree limbs. This added on $50, which I had no problem with at all. They worked very hard. I've weeded it before myself so I know just what went into it. <br /> I plan on having Mark do some other outdoor work for me too. <br />"

"We were initially impressed with Carl Morris and Winnscapes. He spent quite a bit of time with us discussing our needs, and options (2 visits), and sent an initial, very detailed estimate for the lawn work. But after the second visit we never heard from him again, despite two follow-up calls from us. If they had decided they did not want to take on the other job, it was very disappointing that the company was not courteous enough to let us know as we were holding off on getting other estimates thinking we would likely have them do the work."

"Overall they have done a decent job with the lawn.  They do cut it consistently and do nice cleanup work.  My two main issues have been: (1) When I call I never talk to a person and always have to leave a message.  They do return calls most of the time, but I prefer to be able to reach a person when I call a business. (2) They use large zero-turn type mowers and have left ruts in my yard in the spring time when it is wet and muddy.  I called to have them address this and they said they would use a hand mower in the back or not cut it in the future when it was wet; however, I felt like this is something they should have known to do without me having to tell them.  They also did not offer to discount the cost for the damage.  On the positive side, I do appreciate that they allow me to call and cancel a cut when I don't feel it is needed, as long as I give them notice, with no complaint, which some services I got quotes from did not permit.  I also find their cost to be very reasonable and the service to generally be consistent. "
