"First of all, Gene was very responsive and came out to give a quote the day he called. After looking over the job two quotes were given (one to simply prep the area which is what I wanted) and two-what it would cost to do and finish the whole job. I accepted terms for prep- One of the first things I noticed was how quickly the guys wanted to get to work, even while they were getting ready to give quotes they were giving me advice on things that could screw up the project best possible outcomes-supplies I didn’t actually need - all the while raking and working! They told me they could come the following day! I had to laugh because even as they were quoting things and talking to me they were in the pit I had dug beginning to work! I had to remind them “that they were just there for a quote they shouldn’t be working yet!” ?. The guys came the next day when they said they’d be there they even called in advance to make sure that it was still OK for me. The three brothers worked together on the project were very quick brought supplies and in the end saved my back! They really went ABOVE and BEYOND my expectations- couldn’t believe it how fast efficient and fun they were! Super pleasant and really enjoyable people! I would highly recommend them to anyone ...and in fact I have been doing that by word-of-mouth all day. Very thankful to know these guys are out there! "Absolutely avoid Outdoor Equity Construction and its owner, Vaughn. He makes promise after promise and never delivers. After taking a sizable deposit for our patio cover, I had to constantly chase him for months just to get updates. What was promised to take 60?90 days ended up dragging on for nearly 9 months. When the work was finally completed, it was done incorrectly ? and now Vaughn refuses to return calls or messages. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VAUGHN OR OUTDOOR EQUITY CONSTRUCTION."

"Torry Collins and his son started working for us in December 2018. They excavated a 200 ft gravel road, then delivered, aligned and set more than 80 barrier blocks to create a six foot retaining wall. Then they delivered and compacted 300 yards of gravel to turn a slope full of brambles into a 1200 square foot pad for my RV. They worked up to Christmas in less than ideal conditions and did a great job for a very reasonable cost. In July 2020, Torry came back to the same site and excavated the gravel pad for a concrete pad that became the foundation for a metal RV building. He has answered multiple calls to spread road gravel and I believe his integrity is second to none."

"I hired AJ to install an electric range fill kit that I had purchased. He looked at the instuctions and examined the fill kit prior to the visit to install the kit. When he attempted to install the kit, he told me he forgot to bring a metal cutting blade, but would use a grinder to cut the steel piece to the right length. (even though he knew he would need a metal saw and blade) Then he cut one of the pieces too short, and also ruined the paint on the pieces by using the grinder. He proposed filling the gap with silicone and that I buy paint to cover it. I told him I was skeptical, and asked him if he would make it right if we didn't like the result. He looked me in the eye, smiled, and said that he would. The silicone shrunk and looked awful. Painting it would not have helped. I notified AJ that I purchased another fill kit and asked him to contact me to install it. He ghosted me and has not responded. So I had to buy another kit and also pay someone else to cut it. I really regret hiring him, and I'm so disappointed since I liked him and thought he was a trustworthy person."
