"The two gentlemen arrived quite punctually and were very thorough. The furnace chimney did not require sweeping, nor did my fireplace, but they were able to take a look at the fireplace and advised me not to use it until it had been properly outfitted (it's an older fireplace, so this was not a surprise!) Instead of just completing the basic inspection and leaving, they also examined my dryer vent and took a look at my ductwork to see if it needed cleaning - and upon seeing I have some rather difficult to work with ducts, recommended another company because they felt they'd do the better job! Great to work with, punctual, honest folks, and fairly priced. What more can you ask from service people?"

Compared to other companies we got a great fair price and our basement that was flooded is now dry as a bone! The workers really work hard and finished our entire basement in less than 2 days. "Scott not only performed the repair work requested but provided advice about other home issues that did not require repair.  (For example, flickering kitchen lights were caused by my use of CFL bulbs for lights on a dimmer switch.)  He and his co-worker were friendly and courteous (and did not make me feel incompetent because I don't know much about home maintenance issues), and they cleaned up the work areas after they were finished.   <br /> It was initially challenging to schedule the work because of my location and work schedule, but Scott was persistent and the repairs were not urgent.  I will definitely use Home Aid Handyman in the future - and with a 40-year-old home, there will be a future.  I highly recommend this business. <br /> <br />"

"We purchased a new Wood Stove from Creekside to replace the Coal Stove that was in our new house. The crew showed up on time, removed the old stove and installed the new one in an amazingly quick manner. Everything works perfectly. They even cleaned the chimney. Since the Coal Stove was relatively new ( we just don’t like Coal), Creekside put the Stove in their inventory and sold it on consignment for us. What a great group of people! Would definitely recommend them and will definitely use them in the future."
