"Dennis has been great. We are only half way through the project, but so far he has been exceptional. He was only to do my windows, but he has done such a great job, that I contracted him to do my doors, and replace my water heater."

"It went very well. Joe arrived in when expected, he gave me an estimate on repairing my old toilet or replacing it. I chose to replace. We set up a time for the following day. He was on time and had my new toilet in in no time. He was very professional. Cleaned up after himself. Will request him for any work I need done in the future."

"This is the second time Dan has come out to our house for a repair - the first was for our refrigerator and this time was for our clothes dryer. Both times, the service has been excellent. We live out in the country and there was no extra trip charge, plus, he works on WEEKENDS for NO EXTRA CHARGE!!!! He seems to have a very detailed knowledge of appliances and is very willing to give his honest opinion on what we should do (buy new vs. repair the old). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! <br />"

"We had hired Jeremy a couple years ago for a bathroom shower repair so did not hesitate again to contact him when we had a leaking pipe under our kitchen sink and leaky faucet above. He and his wife provided lots of useful information and suggested getting the needed parts under warranty for the faucet instead of the additional cost of replacing it. He does what's best for the customer and didn't just automatically suggest the most expensive thing like replacing the faucet. In the end, we went ahead with a replacement because the faucet was out of warranty so for the investment it made sense to replace. He suggested a brand for us that would have a lifetime warranty and explained the quality of their products. Again, to me, this shows his concern, honesty and integrity regarding his work and customer's best interest. With our kitchen setup containing a corner sink placement in addition to the original builder or prior DIY work of the disposal and pipe location and setup, the repair of the leaky pipe under the sink was not the most convenient and comfortable work for him. He still took the needed time and did the job thoroughly and completely making sure to explain what he was going to do and what had happened to cause the leak in the pipe in the first place. He found a 2nd leaky pipe just behind the wall when testing the first part of the job and fixed that as well. He and his assistant were very thorough, conscientious, pleasant and cleaned up tremendously when they were done. I highly recommend The Handy Guy."

"Had the well replaced with a comparable metal well, and also had them put in a ladder and a top cover. The first guy I had look at it from Midwest basement quoted me a whopping $3200, granted that was for a composite well which are more expensive but still.... found A & H's pricing at $1100 much more reasonable. Metal wells at home improvement stores run $200-500 and after a couple hundred dollars for the ladder and cover and that pricing was probably pretty tough to beat. Dealt with Ivan, they came as scheduled got the work done in one day as planned, cleaned up well and offered to come back and fill dirt around the well if we had any sinkage problems as the dirt settled."

"The service was excellent! They arrived to pick up the vehicle a day earlier which was great. They delivered the vehicle right to my daughter's door and found a side street to unload. The service was delivered within the time frame given. All of my questions were answered via phone or email and the paperwork was seamless and the price was very reasonable."

"I had work done by this company 4 years ago and was very satisfied. However the gentleman who originally did work for me 4 years ago was no longer with the company, and I have to say that the quality of the work depends upon who shows up to do the work. There did not seem to be any clean up after their work, for example drywall dust in piles where ever they drilled into the wall; paint scratches on hardwood floors from taking door off hinges to replace weather stripping; chips of paint knocked off walls where installations were made; 15-20 chipped paint spots on garage door walls; and ladder scratch marks all over exterior of house. Was not impressed with their cleanup, which appreared to be nonexistent. But this was a different experience from my experience with the same company 4 years ago-which is why I have the impression their quality of work depends on each specific workman. I think the work itself was generally all right, if sloppy. The doors on the medicine cabinet were hung crooked. I was just irritated that I had to clean up after the workers, including getting on my hands and knees to get the paint scratches off my hardwood floor. <br />"
