"I hired Todd to reconstruct a medium sized, dilapidated workshop structure on my property to be used as a candle making studio. I had confidence the building could be improved upon but was not exactly sure what to expect. The tin roof was caving in, the building had fire damage, and it was structurally "askew." Todd started with the the side of the structure with the most damage. The results, thus far, are amazing. The side he is working on looks nearly brand new. I am not only impressed with his attention to detail and craftsmanship but also his willingness to articulate his ideas, processes, and techniques. Finally, his time management is outstanding. I have worked with other craftsman in the past and although they might have done great work, showing up on time wasn't always the biggest priority. I highly recommend Todd for any handyman+ job and more! :)"

"Lance was. Very punctual and very knowledgeable.. He was able to assess the project and completed the job in a very timely manner. Very considerate of Covid protocol by wearing a mask, wore gloves during installation and even removed his boots, without being asked, so as to not track in any snow., We definitely would recommend him highly and will definitely use his services again."

"Seth was awesome to work with. His work looked nice. Real easy to work with. I also liked that he is a former veteran and supporting a local business. His price was competitive. No complaints here. "

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Kansas City, MO

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
