"Very well. Mr. Shuleva took a whole year before the project was started, but once he got his workers in place, it went very well. In addition to creating a swale that directed floodwaters away from our house, he tied our drainpipes into a drain that took the water away from the house and installed a french drain (I think that's the correct term) around the retaining wall under our prized back porch. He also did some extras, including giving me two nice shrubs (some sort of hydrangea, I forget the name), replanting a dogwood and some heritage lilacs that he had to move in order to do the rest of the work, and reseeding another part of the yard. We get compliments on the work. Looks great, and the grass is coming in nicely."

We wanted old overgrown shrubs to be removed and replaced with shrubs that would not require much upkeep and trimming. He told us about evergreens that have various hues and sizes. He planted seven shrubs, there are three different hues and one shrub that will grow taller. Then put stone down as dressing for the bed. We could not be happier. A neighbor hired him to work on her landscape after she saw his work. Kirk and Rob were great!!!"

"I hired Joseph to repair the stairs and the edges of my existing brick patio, and then to extend the patio about 10 feet out. First the good. The patio extension came out pretty well he did a decent job matching the bricks given the age of my existing ones, and it looks pretty solid. Unfortunately there’s a big dip between the existing and new patio. Joseph said that was because of the concrete base under the existing but I feel like he could have tapered it better. Anyway that’s not my problem. I asked him to repair my steps (two steps leading to the house ). They were in bad shape , and falling apart. Joseph offered the option to tear down the steps and rebuild for an addition $1500 or he could repair them. I chose to repair. I’ve attached pictures of the finished product. This is after his first employee did an even worse job. I didn’t expect perfect but not happy with this. Joseph is a nice guy and he tries hard but I think he’s just not very good at this. The first day he came by himself and didn’t have any equipment. He used my shovel and wheelbarrow to start the dig work. Not a big deal but just didn’t set up for a great experience. There’s an edge section of the patio that is still broken away. When I asked why he didn’t repair he said it wasn’t part of the contract. disappointing because I specifically said I wanted to fix all the loose parts. Again, Joseph could have offered to repair and provide me an updated estimate but he just opted to not address it. His fee was reasonable, but my advice is to pay a little more and get an actual mason."

"Work was done very well and in a timely fashion. Nick and his crew cleaned up after the downed tree by removing the larger pieces and cutting and piling the smaller pieces as we wanted. Nick's prices were more than fair for the work done and the professionalism of his crew."

"Received a consultation from this company in April 2024 for privacy bushed in back of home. His initial professionalism and salesmanship made me decide to use him for our project. We asked they he order and install 8 Juniper bushes for the project. Project install happened on 5/16/24. During the install, landscapers hit a sprinkler line on one of the tree sights. I understand that this happens and is sometimes part of the gig. When I noticed the damage, after the tree was installed, contacted owner. His response “ did you tell them the sprinkler line was there”. My home has water everywhere, and as a matter of fact we changed some of the location due to sprinkler line location. “ You have to tell my guys where the gas line are, and sprinkler lines”. I’m sorry, but I do not know anyone who has a map of sprinkler lines underground. Having said all of that, he said he could call his sprinkler guy, but could not guarantee his work. I than went on YouTube academy and figured it out for the next three days. Our first Juniper died early June and was replaced on 6/15. On this day, owner claims that the island was saturated with water with the tree he was replacing, and that the tree may not survive. That tree is the only tree flourishing. Currently 7/22/24 Four of the eight trees are dying. Owner has relinquished all responsibility to the grower with whom I have not even meant. Frankly, I do not even know who the grower is at this point. He has stated that I must now be in direct contact with grower. This has been the most unprofessional owner post install of service. He was paid in full and has not been honorable. I would proceed with cation and obtain everything in weighting . He is not trustworthy or honorable."

"Terrible company. DO NOT HIRE. I started working with Pro-Cut in September of 2019. The job was to kill my existing lawn, remove stump grindings from stumps I had ground up, till it up, run a rockhound to remove any stones and debris, grade towards my swale and creek, then re-seed entire lawn and install mulch beds. Initially Mike was good to deal with but things quickly went south. I was at work and my wife called me to tell me that they were tilling the stump grindings into the soil. She went out to talk to the guy on the tractor and he argued with her and told her “we do this all the time”. I had to call his boss and remind him that removing the stump grindings was part of the contract. Anyone who knows how this works will tell you that stump grindings will adversely affect the pH of the soil and grass won’t grow. He reluctantly agreed and removed the grindings. They tilled the rest of the lawn and re-seeded but never graded the lawn. They never used a transit, laser level or anything (also discussed in our initial meeting) to ensure proper grade. I had low spots before and didn’t want to have the same problem again. I couldn’t tell that they didn’t grade it because the entire lawn was covered in straw. Mike assured me it was graded properly. They did my mulch beds but laid the mulch up to 6” thick in many areas which has caused mold and I can’t plant anything there unless I add 3-4” of soil. They also covered my downspouts where they tie into the storm drain so my storm drains are full of mulch. The lawn started to come in in October but never came in quite right. Mike came back and overseeded but it didn’t help. I decided to purchase my own seed (same exact Lesco brand they used) and spent $150 to try to help fill in the bare spots. During our initial meeting, I told Mike that my lawn had several areas where grass wasn’t growing and I wasn’t sure why but I suspected I had clay in the soil. He said they would add soil as necessary. They didn’t bring one wheelbarrow of soil. I decided to wait until Spring and see how it looked. Well, it looked awful –worse than it had before I even hired them. There were bare spots everywhere and I had standing water in many spots. It became a mud pit. I emailed Mike pictures and he responded and said as soon as weather allowed they would come back and take care of it. He didn’t send a crew out until June 3. By then it was hot and we missed the last of the Spring rains. He could’ve come out in early May but since they already had my money I could tell they had no interest in coming out unless I kept asking them to. I told Mike that he should come out with at least 20 yards of soil due to the excessive low and bare spots. He ignored my advice and came with 3 yards. His crew even agreed that adding seed and soil wasn’t going to fix my problem because it wasn’t done properly in the first place. After asking his foreman 4 times when Mike was going to come out he finally showed up. While walking the lawn with him, he kept deflecting my questions and concerns. I looked him in the eye and asked him if he really thought that throwing down some soil and seed was going the fix my problem. He looked down at the ground and responded “yes I do”. He wouldn’t even look me in the eye and say it because he knew it wasn’t the proper way to repair my lawn. I have tried to be as patient as possible with this company and give his idea a chance. I diligently watered my lawn (again with super high water bills like I had in the Fall) every day and mowed around the straw that was all over my lawn. The grass never came in and I still have excessive low spots. I requested a refund and asked him to make it right and now he won’t respond to me. My lawn looks worse than it did last Summer. I have photos to back everything up. Do not hire these guys. I went with them because Mike seemed genuine at first and gave me a good price. I won’t make that mistake again. Next step is to hire an attorney."
