"Jerson and his crew were fairly priced, very efficient and did great work on our front yard landscape demolition and removal. They removed several bushes, stumps a 1400 square foot dead lawn and cement strips with nasty rebar. A very hard working crew! Communication was superb!"

"CM Landscaping was excellent from start to finish of our project. We had a lawn put in our front and back yard with full sprinklers and landscaping done in the backyard. Fernando was amazing to work with. He made great suggestions for our yard and was courteous and professional. The work was done on schedule and looks great. CM provided exceptional service at a great price. Fernando scheduled a follow up to make sure the grass is taking and has been responsive to all questions. I would not hesitate to work with him again and I very highly recommend him and his company. This is exactly the kind of business we should all support."

"It went great, they got right back to me. I live in Maryland and my 86 year old father in California needed somebody to take care of his yard and they came out right away. I would highly recommend this company. My dad said his yard looks great. Thanks so much"

"We had previously hired Pete for lawn and yard work through an Angie's Deal and that job was in Dec 2011.  We were very happy with Pete's work on our front and back yards in Dec 2011 and we graded him as an "A" in an Angie's review.
Our front yard was looking scraggly so we hired Pete again through another Angie's Deal for a job in March 2012.
Pete and another member of his staff showed up around 11-12 noon and we asked them to concentrate just on the front yard and cutting back everything, since it was so overgrown.
They did an excellent job.  Pete spent a bit of time pruning my Japanese maple and since his work, that little tree has flourished through the year.  All the shrubs and flowering plants that were cut back have all flourished.
Pete and his staff member don't use any power tools.  Everything is hand-pruned or cut back.  While this may take a little longer, we and my neighbors appreciate not having all that noise from power tools.
In terms of communication, we found Pete to be very responsive and timely and all of our communication was by email.  Usually, he would respond to our emails in the evenings and this was totally fine with us.  Pete would ask specifically what we wanted done and how much to cut back.
We were happy with Pete's work in the March 2012 job and hope to hire him again in the near future.

FAQs for lawn care aeration projects in Inverness, CA

Aeration is the best way to keep your lawn healthy and vibrant. Annual aeration makes your lawn more breathable and helps nutrients reach the roots, improving water absorption and reducing puddles where pests might breed. However, timing matters. It's best to avoid aerating during droughts, extreme heat, or if your lawn is battling weeds. A local pro can help you determine the ideal time for your yard.

Most lawns benefit from annual aeration to keep them healthy and thriving. If your lawn has a lot of thatch buildup—more than half an inch—you might need to aerate twice a year for a couple of years to get it under control. But if your soil isn't compacted and there's minimal thatch, you might be able to skip a year.

When you hire a professional lawn care company, a standard 10,000-square-foot lawn takes about 30 minutes to aerate. Uneven, sloped, or especially large lawns can take significantly more time. So, depending on your lawn's size and condition, the process can take anywhere from half an hour to several hours.

The best time to aerate your lawn is during the spring or fall when your grass is actively growing and the soil has enough moisture. Aerating once in the spring and once in the fall yields the best results. Avoid aerating when your lawn is dormant or right after heavy rain when the soil is too wet—that can make aeration less effective.

Even if your lawn looks healthy, aeration can still be beneficial. If you have good growth, proper drainage, and little thatch, you might not need to aerate right away. Regular aeration helps water and nutrients reach the roots, keeping your lawn strong over time. Keep an eye on your lawn's condition to decide when it might need aeration.
