"I appreciated the accurate estimate for the work as well as the advice on preventing it from happening again. The crew arrived on time and raised the walkway section so it’s level now. They also caulked between the driveway and garage slabs."

"Aaron did a great job. He got back to me promptly and schedule an appointment to do the repair within three business days of me contacting him. His prices were reasonable and he did excellent work. I could not be more happy with his craftsmanship and attention to detail. I would definitely use him again if I ever have a need for a foundation repair."

"Chris and his team were really great to work with. Professional. Good communication from start to finish. Everything was on time. We would definitely work with him again. We are very satisfied with the final result. He was also very reasonably priced. We got three quotes for our job. One came back at 3 times as much as Chris's quote, and the other was almost double. They paid attention to details like taking care to not ruin the yard as they accessed our job site from the road and cleaning up everything when they were done. We can't say enough good things about Chris and his team."

"I bought two ProVia storm doors from Hoffman Weber, to be installed at a cost of just over $5000.00 for the pair. It’s an astronomical amount, but according to reviews, these were supposedly the best doors out there. I waited seven weeks for the doors to be delivered. My front door is acceptable as installed and works well, although the added “Art Glass” design looks pretty cheesy, as if I had added it to the pane of glass myself with a plastic paint pen, instead of having the decoration “professionally” applied. Hoffman Weber had no actual photos of the “art glass” decorations. I chose the design from line drawings only. On the other hand, the second door that I ordered is completely unacceptable, and I will be replacing it with a different door from a different company. The chief requirement for this door was that it be able to accommodate a pet door. I had lengthy discussions with the sales staff before agreeing to order the ProVia door, and I was assured that they could deliver what I needed. The first door delivered was a half-light door, although I was told that a custom ¾-light door would be sent with a pet door already installed. The door was sent back, seven weeks after it had been ordered. When Hoffman Weber contacted me with a new spec for reordering the door, I was told that ProVia could NOT provide what I asked for. At the time, I agreed to order a 3/4-light door without a pet door, and install an after market pet door myself. I waited another seven weeks for the replacement door to come in. However, when it arrived, it became apparent that this second door is completely unsuitable for installing a pet door. While it's called a 3/4 light door, it's actually more like a 7/8 light door, with the bottom panel being much too small to fit a pet door of any size. I asked before ordering this door what the dimensions of the bottom panel would be, stating that I’d need at least 16” of panel in which to put the pet door. I never received any response to my inquiry. The door was ordered in standard dimensions. It will not work for its intended purpose and will need to be replaced yet again. In addition, the window slide on the replacement door arrived broken, with a six inch strap of sharp, heavy metal protruding from the frame when the window was raised. After weeks of inquiries, ProVia eventually sent someone to fix the defect, but in the process of replacing the slide, made several cuts in the door frame. The door is back together and the window now slides up and down, but the structural integrity of the door has been compromised. The door also arrived with several nicks and scratches already present in the exterior paint, and with the wrong lock on the handleset. I communicated all this to my contact at Hoffman Weber, and have yet to have my concerns addressed. It has been nearly five months since I put in the original order, and I still do not have a back door that works for me. While I have paid off the balance of my contract, I am extremely unhappy with the service and the product that I have received."

"Came to our house and provided a quote on the same day we contacted the Company. The work was performed a few weeks later over the course of about a day and a half. The crew was nice, answered questions, and cleaned up after themselves. Several neighbors have remarked that they performed nice looking work. I would contact again for future work"

"Highly recommend Madsen Concrete. Tom did our driveway 4 years ago. Since then, it has stayed in great shape. We just reached the date for our 4-5 year resurfacing. We are usually DIYers but with such a visible part of our home we wanted professional service and product. We called Tom back up and he was again easy to work with, great at communicating, and friendly. We will be giving him a call again in another 4-5 years."

"This company hires lazy subcontractors from other states. Bottom-of-the-barrel types. I'm guessing that's why you see so many F reviews, that contrast with A reviews which are probably jobs that were not subcontracted. In 1994, we paid these knuckle-dragging idiots $36,000 to build a 3-car garage. The crew they hired was a bunch of carnival sideshows from Florida, who were messy, lazy slobs that I wouldn't trust to build a tree house. All during construction, they just threw their trash into the crevice between the dirt and the new cinder block wall. And I'm not sure they knew anything about how the ground in Minnesota freezes. Unfortunately, I was only a kid and didn't hold any authority to change anything, and my old man was too rich and lazy to do anything about it. My neighbor (who built his own garage the year before, which to this day has not a single crack anywhere) watched in terror as they pieced this pile of garbage together. The floating slab they poured needed to be about twice as deep for the amount of cinder block that was going to be on it (5 blocks high, 3 stalls wide). I'm sure they didn't tamp the ground enough, as another reviewer pointed out, because within 2 months the foundation began to crack across the back 1/3 of the slab. The cinder block walls had 1/2 inch cracks in several locations within 3 months, which worsened every year. The garage door has had to be adjusted every couple of years because the entire structure continues to deform in ways I can't describe without pictures. Today, the cracks in the walls are so large that you can pass a screwdriver to your buddy outside. You can clearly see the neighbor mowing the lawn next door. In winter, when the ground freezes, the height difference between the back 1/3 of the slab and the front 2/3 is OVER AN INCH. The frames around the two-car garage door and the single garage door are bowing. The walls on the garage door side are pushing inward (which is why the doors need to be constantly adjusted). In addition to constant adjustment, both doors have had springs, chains and drives break. That's not supposed to happen. Needless to say, the concrete apron is cracked in several places as well. That's normal for a 25-year-old garage. But the apron cracked within the first 12 months. This garage is so awfully built that the apron is now higher than the foundation, and heavy rain or snow melt will flood the entire floor. I remember when we complained early on that there were cracks. They sent a one-man crew to put mortar in the cracked walls and called it good. When asked about the slab, he just replied that "it's Minnesota, and all garage floors crack." What a crock. Customer service = zero. Now that I'm 40, and will soon graduate with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, I can say with 100% certainty that this company doesn't care about anything but getting your money. Don't buy from Sussel, unless you're filming the next great documentary of how not to build something. Plan about $50,000-$60,000 for your budget since that's about the cost to build this garage in today's money. Eff Sussel straight in their faces. Their buildings are excrement. Will upload pics as soon as garage is empty."

"This was the best experience I could have asked for. Our dream home and forever home was a complete success! Jason let us be apart of the process, and was very knowledgeable and honest. Our home is very unique all handicap accessible doors, hallways, bathrooms. This is the home we want to grow old in. He explained the pros and cons of ideas we had. Jason did all of the leg work getting all of the necessary professionals in and out getting jobs done. Jason and his team are very clean also, there was always a clean work area no matter what they were doing. Very professional work!! Well worth the money!!! If we need something done in the future Jason will be the one we call!"

FAQs for concrete driveways & floors installation projects in Isanti, MN

Polished concrete floors offer many benefits with very few drawbacks. While issues like discoloration, stains, or imprints may occur during pouring, these are rare when working with a skilled flooring contractor. Once polished, concrete floors are easy to maintain, long-lasting, and eco-friendly. They also resist mold and moisture, making them ideal for allergy-prone households, and offer versatile design options for both indoor and outdoor use.

Polished concrete flooring is often more affordable than tile. It involves lower material costs and less labor-intensive installation. Tile installations require additional leveling and preparation, which increases labor costs. Opting for concrete flooring helps reduce upfront expenses and provides a durable, stylish finish that saves money over time with minimal maintenance.

While epoxy flooring offers enhanced durability and toughness compared to polished concrete, it comes with higher material and labor costs. If budget is a top priority, polished concrete floors provide a resilient and attractive finish without the premium price tag, making them an ideal choice for value and long-term performance.

Polished concrete floors last 20 years or more when installed by licensed professionals and maintained with proper care. Their enduring finish withstands heavy use and remains visually impressive for decades. Regular deep cleaning and maintenance help safeguard the floor’s integrity, providing homeowners with a long-lasting, cost‐effective solution that endures daily wear without compromising style.

Polished concrete floors increase home value by offering a modern, sleek appearance and exceptional durability. A professionally installed floor not only enhances visual appeal but also minimizes maintenance expenses, making the property more attractive to prospective buyers. This flooring upgrade delivers a refined look while boosting overall market competitiveness and long-term property value.
