"<strong>12/22/15 Update:</strong> <br /> <br /> Originally I gave Window Wizards an overall "F" rating because of the details shown in the original review below.  Close to a year after the work was completed AND the WW owner seeing our "F" rating, WW reached out to us.  They paid us back the amount overcharged from what was quoted and offered a free window cleaning service.  Because they finally decided to make things right, I have changed the review to an overall "C." It should not have taken a year and an "F" rating for WW to make their mistake right. <br /> <strong><br /> Original Review:</strong> <br /> <br /> The window and blind cleaning itself was fine. It was Window Wizard's <strong>billing practices </strong>that were not honest and straightforward. <br /> <br /> I had used WW in the past and had no problems, hence the reason to use them again, this time at my boyfriend's house.  We were getting his house ready to sell and wanted all the windows and blinds cleaned. <br /> <br /> We had their sales guy come to the house, count windows/blinds and discuss what we wanted WW to do.  He provided us a <strong>written quote </strong>and <strong>based upon that quote</strong>, we decided to use WW. <br /> <br /> The guys performing the work were very polite, careful, and thorough. No issues with their work.  When the work was complete, they provided a bill, which matched the written quote and <strong> they were paid onsite, in full</strong>. <br /> <br /> Later, the billing office called and said we owed them more money.  We sent copies of the quote and the bill provided at time of service, showing that our payment matched.   <strong>The billing office still would not honor the written quote OR bill</strong>.   <br /> <br /> We ended up paying a lot more than we were quoted and billed. We only paid the extra cost because we were selling the home. <strong>We would never recommend or use Window Wizard again. </strong>"

They give you instructions on how to measure your windows for either inside or outside mounting. You will get a great discount being an Angie member. The blinds are great quality and service is very quick and they are super easy to install."

"The carpets hadn't been cleaned for about four years, and I really didn't know if they would come clean.  Randy met with me, gave me a quote and explained why it was higher than some other carpet cleaners.  I really felt like he was our best shot at not having to replace the carpet.  He arrived promptly and did an amazing job, there was only one small section that didn't come totally clean and it was a main traffic area. He even got the stains out by the dining table. <br /> The cost was more than I had planned for but in the end I would do it again.  He cleaned the whole house upstairs and down and it looks great and ready to be sold. <br /> I also liked that Randy, the owner, was the one that did the work. <br />"

"At first it looked good but as i spent more time I keep finding places i expected to be cleaned they didnt touch . Ex. Top of cabinets didnt get touched. Bath tile didnt get cleaned as well as expected."

"Angie's List has a coupon for this service.  But the coupon price is misleading, you are not saving any money with the coupon, this is the standard price for this vendor.  I don't believe it should be listed as a coupon.  Also, when I was directed to Pay Pal, the instructions were confusing.  You were instructed to select a date to have the work performed.  That instruction didn't apply to this vendor.  The sample containers arrived within a few days of placing my order.  I sent the sample bottles out the next day.  The instructions were fairly easy to follow, although I have taken samples like these for my job and I believe there should be better instructions about how to make sure you don't contaminate the sample.  Simple instructions, like when you unscrew the lid try not to put it down, but if you have to, make sure you put it on a clean paper towel.  Pictures would help.  Also, don't sneeze or cough over the sample.  I received the results in about a week from when I sent the sample, an email came first followed by a letter in the mail.  The results were easy to read."
